Transport your palette to France with M&S and Celebrity Cook, Ili Sulaiman

July 21, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

There’s nothing more delightful than to reminisce about a beautiful day in the summer in France. One way to safely satisfy a bit of the travel crave can be through an easy meal fix. Marks & Spencer has united once again with Celebrity Cook Ili Sulaiman to inspire your kitchen experience with a quick and easy French dish — featuring the Sole Meunière with new potatoes and peas in a Lemon Butter Sauce recipe with the M&S Summer range.

Sole Meunière is a classic French dish where the sole is lightly floured, cooked in olive oil and served with delicious parsley butter with a side of new potatoes and petit pois. It’s a simple dish, but it’s an authentic taste of French cuisine. The word Meunière means “miller’s wife” and refers to the fact that the fish is coated in flour before cooking. It has also been a staple recipe in France for hundreds of years – said to be one of the favourite dishes of King Louis XIV.

In just 25 minutes, you can whip up a delicious meal with the ingredients from the M&S Summer food range. The M&S seafood products are ethically sourced from fisheries and fish farms to minimise the environmental impact while guaranteeing you the highest quality, delicious seafood you’d expect from Marks & Spencer.

The recipe is made available on Marks & Spencer Facebook and Instagram page. Home-cooked food is easy and simple to prepare with the M&S Summer food range.

The Marks & Spencer Summer Food range is available at M&S Foodhall nationwide and online via Grab, Foodpanda and Happy Fresh. Opt for Personal Shopper Service for a personalised shopping experience and save 20% when you buy two or more from the selected M&S Summer food range. Indulge in a taste of France without leaving home – Bon appétit!
