Element Kuala Lumpur Kick starts ‘Desa Vibes’ in Kuala Lumpur City.

April 2, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

This year, we may miss home, there may be no ‘Balik Kampung’ or we may have to stay apart. In the spirit of Ramadan, a feast close to home awaits at Element Kuala Lumpur. Located on the 40th floor; TRACE Restaurant and Bar proudly presents ‘Desa Vibes’ dinner buffet. Executive Chef Man and his team are setting stakes high by curating the best of Malaysian favorites for the month of Ramadan.

Breakfast with an array of sweet dates and whet appetite at the Salad Bar with refreshing greens and local composed salad such as Chicken with Mushroom Salad, Smoked Meat Salad and Mango Salad (Kerabu Ayam Cendawan, Kerabu Daging Salai, Kerabu Manga). Relish with assorted local ulam-ulam, spicy authentic dips, salted fishes and local homegrown crackers.

This year’s signature dish is close to Chef Man’s heart; which is the Nasi Dagang; a popular local dish originated from the East of Malaysia. Made from glutinous rice, coconut milk, served with mackerel fish gravy and pickles. The Nasi Dagang is prepared the traditional way with the rice wrapped in banana leaf for additional flavor and fragrance. This dish is very nostalgic for Chef Man as it reminds him of his hometown and the memories spent with family during Ramadan gatherings.

TRACE also introduces smoked honey grilled beef with grilled pineapples. The tenderness of smoked meat combined with the juiciness of grilled pineapples promises memorable sky dining experience. Not to forget the chef’s selection of roasted lamb “percik” with briyani rice and condiments, roasted chicken rice, assorted dim sum and many more.

Diners can round up the culinary journey at the sweet corner and be spoilt for choices by the vast variety of dessert. The dessert corner features a range of popular Malay kuih-muih as well as cheese cake, red velvet cake, strawberry lychee mousse, crème burlee and plenty more. Not to be missed, warm Serawa Durian with Arabic bread. These dishes will vary each day throughout the whole month to ensure diners enjoy a wholesome buffet.

Priced at RM 128.00 nett per adult & RM 64.00 nett per child, the Desa Vibes Dinner Buffet promotion will be available from 6.00pm to 10.00pm at TRACE Restaurant and Bar, from 16th  April – 9th May 2021. Diners can enjoy an early bird price of RM 88, from 15th of March to 11th of April 2021.

For diners who wish to breakfast at home, TRACE’s special ‘Desa Delivery’ menu is also available to order during this period. Take away well balanced meals starting from RM 30 and above. Each menu is priced at RM 30, RM 40 and RM 50 and serves 1 adult. Orders need to be placed 48 hours in advance.

For takeaways; call TRACE at 03- 2771 3351 to place your order. For reservation, email to [email protected] or call 603-2771 3388 / 3351.
