The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre Brings Comfort, Safety and Convenience to your Home this Chinese New Year

February 13, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (the Centre) is celebrating the Year of the Metal Ox with a delightful festive menu for a safe and convenient Reunion Dinner this Chinese New Year Eve, with the options of door-delivery and self-collection.

Featuring three ‘Yee Sang’ choices, the Reunion Dinner Menu offers a range of variety with its “Happy New Year” with fresh salmon from RM40.00 for a small portion or RM80.00 for a large; “Dual Happiness & Prosperity” with fresh salmon and jellyfish for RM48.00 and RM98.00; and “Golden Symphony” with fresh salmon, abalone and gold dust for RM98.00 and RM188.00. The portion is generous and they are freshly done as well. Most of all, i can say it is value for money for those who are planning to grab some yee sang.

The specially crafted a-la-carte menu offers “Prosperity Abalone Treasure Pot”, starting from RM188.00; Roast “Sesame Chicken” or “Pei Pa Duck” whole from RM60.00; “Chinese Style Barbeque Chicken” at RM38.00 per portion; “Deep-Fried Snapper” topped with a spicy citrus cream sauce and pickled mango for RM138.00; “Asian Spiced Grouper” cooked with pineapple and coconut milk for RM198.00; “Eight Treasure Rice”  wrapped in lotus leaf from RM38.00 for a large portion; and “Lunar Prosperity Noodles” at RM48.00.

The Centre’s Chinese Master Chef, Andrew Lee Then Poo, shared, “We would like to wish everyone a safe and joyous Chinese New Year. Grand reunion dinners on the eve of the Lunar New Year is an age-old tradition and a moment of bonding for families near and far alike. Festivities have drastically changed due to the ever-evolving pandemic and the Centre’s aim is to offer relief to our customers, partners and the public so they are able to celebrate this prosperous and joyous occasion in the safest, most convenient and authentic manner possible without missing the true spirit of the celebration. It’s very simple to order, just contact us and let our team take care of the rest!”

Orders need to be placed before 12.00pm on Tuesday, 9 February 2021 and will be delivered or available for collection from the Centre on Wednesday, 10 February and Thursday, 11 February. To order call +603 2333 2866, WhatsApp +60123103621 or email [email protected].
