Okay Kuih : A fusion kuih to go for

February 4, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

A different style of Nyonya kuih! Okay Kuih is one of our latest tries and there are indeed creative. Okay Kuih is one of the online platforms that offer you with a great variety of unique kuih. And this time, you can pamper your self with the choices from their signature kuih to a variety of ang kui

The selection of their nyonya kuih is completely unique. We started of with their selection of the Ku Siblings where we are welcome with their 3 choices of their ang ku kuih.

We started off with their Ang ku where it brings you with a hint of rest from the kaffir lime. A hip and get a nostalgic taste of it.

The yellow angku will be the cheeriest sibling which in the Limau Ku. They beautifully come with the yellow shell and it brings u with the zingy lemon icing conspires with the mung bean paste to knock you off your feet.

While the green one which is the Gula ku is the sweetest among all. It is injected with the rich gula melaka sauce, savoury crushed mung beans (tau sah) filled in a cherry shell tinted  by leaves of the pandan.

Asides, from that. must try is their Truffle Talam where this is the luxurious fusion of rice flour, coconut milk, and pandan extract with a truffle oil coating. They are beautifully touched with the gold leet ontop.

The kaya Tai Tai is beautifully steamed with santan and then are complement with kaya and lemon icing.  Not forgetting, they are tipped with the classic sapphire tint from the butterfly pea flower.

Finally, the Nut Nana. The Nut Nana is inspired by the chocolate banana cake reimagined. The Nutella lends an Addictive flavour to this two-toned banana Kuih. Yummy!
