The LEGO Group Presents A Fun and Playful Christmas Season in Malaysia

November 13, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

Gear up for the festivities and usher in the holiday cheer as The LEGO Group offers a world of endless creative play possibilities this Christmas. From exciting novelty Christmas sets to festive gift options for different interests, The LEGO Group aims to inspire the creativity of adults and children alike and make their imaginations come true in the shape of LEGO bricks.

Bring the magic of Christmas home with LEGO festive sets

Experience the magic of Christmas and discover the quaint cottage that is home to Santa’s Elves with the LEGO® Elf Club House.

Jam-packed with seasonal touches and festive features to offer a magical glimpse into the everyday lives of Santa’s helpers, the LEGO Elf Club House includes a waffle machine to re-fuel the elves after a long day of toy making, a brick-built repositionable chimney and even a ‘sleighport’ to park the elf’s sleigh in, ready to load up with presents for adults and children.

Deck your homes with the LEGO Elf Clubhouse Christmas Tree, which is brimming with colourful baubles; sneak a selection of toys and small gifts that the elves have prepared for each other under the Christmas tree; and watch Santa’s sleigh take off into the night sky with the telescope. You can even use the computer to track who has been naughty and who’s nice! Measuring 22cm high and 13cm deep, the set makes a stunning display piece as families create a new festive building tradition together. A LEGO light brick is also included to illuminate the festive scene!

Festive gift options for every interest

Families can have a great Christmas countdown with novelty Advent Calendar sets featuring the themes of Star Wars and Harry Potter. Little builders will find a new buildable surprise hiding behind the 24 doors for each set.

Fans of Harry Potter will love the LEGO Harry Potter™ Advent Calendar which enables them to recreate the Hogwarts™ holiday scenes such as the amazing Yule Ball, and role-play stories and adventures of their own. The calendar also contains minifigures – including Harry Potter, Hermione Granger™, Ron Weasley™, Padma Patil, Parvati Patil and Cho Chang – as well as buildable models such as a miniature Beauxbaton’s carriage and a dining table with ice-castle centerpiece. The LEGO Star Wars™ Advent Calendar features 6 LEGO minifigures and 6 LEGO figures such as Darth Vader with Christmas sweater decoration and Tauntaun with a red nose. 12 mini build toys, including Anakin’s Podracer, a Republic Cruiser and Darth Vader’s Castle, are also added to spark kids’ imagination. The play experience is further enhanced with the fold out play mat featuring an image of the Millennium Falcon with Christmas lights to inspire creative play, while the children look out for a code to unlock Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga game content.

In celebration of the festivities, children are welcome to embark on a LEGO Super Mario™ adventure with the Adventures with Mario Starter Course, which will be available at a 20% discount at all retailers. The Starter Course is key to unlocking the entire gameplay, being the only set to feature the interactive LEGO Mario figure that collects coins in game levels created with LEGO bricks. LEGO Super Mario brings new interactivity and gameplay to the traditional LEGO brick experience, while reinventing the way people interact with Super Mario in the physical world. For an enhanced play experience, expansion sets and collectible characters are also available to unleash one’s imagination.

There are also many LEGO gift options which enable parents to join their children in imaginative role-playing fun. For toddlers, there is LEGO DUPLO Modular Playhouse which teaches them about everyday life such as cooking, mealtime and bedtime routines. The 3-in-1 dollhouse playset can also be rebuilt and transformed into a tower house or a residential house. Or they can immerse in winter fun with LEGO Disney Belle’s Castle Winter Celebration as they join Belle and the Beast in the colourful castle with multiple rooms and buildable accessories.

For children who love to be in the thick of action, they can engage in some criminal-catching fun with LEGO City Police Station featuring LEGO light-brick searchlights and cool police vehicles with roof lights and siren for realistic car chases. Or they can play out their dream day trip with LEGO Friends Summer Fun Water Park comprising cool water slides and a cute Unicorn float while they stay cool with a treat from the ice-cream truck. For those who love an adventure, there is the LEGO Ninjago Empire Temple of Madness to fight alongside their ninja heroes against forces of evil, or join the LEGO Monkie Kid Monkey King Warrior Mech with its Golden Staff alongside the character minifigures atop the Cloud and Flower Fruit Mountain builds to defeat Bull Clones at Pigsy’s noodle shop.

Shoppers who spend a minimum of RM 289 at LEGO Certified Stores between 1 November and 31 December will receive a LEGO Drawstring Bag with several polybags within. Those who spend a minimum of RM 449 will also receive the 40410 LEGO Charles Dickens Tribute between 20 November and 6 December, or the 40416 LEGO Ice Skating Rink between 7 and 31 December.

Rohan Mathur, Marketing Director, Southeast Asia at The LEGO Group, said “The LEGO System of Play enables children to stretch the boundaries of their creativity and create a more fun and playful world, especially during festive occasions like Christmas. We hope that our line-up of Christmas novelty sets and gift options for people of different interests will offer an enthralling and delightful experience for all Malaysians as they create meaningful memories with their family and friends.”
