Vivo Celebrated Merdeka Day with Exclusive “ Shot on X50 Pro” Film “KITA”

August 29, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

In celebration of patriotism and nationalism, vivo Malaysia brings you with the 9 minutes short filmz “KITA” where they are fully shot on their X50 Pro phone. And what so special about “KITA” is where the web-film is recorded entirely on the newly launched vivo X50 Pro and they are directed by the renowned Netflix Malaysia director, Ho  Yuhang. Vivo Malaysia had successfully launched their first screening of their National Day Blockbuster at the exclusive media event at GSC One Utama and is graced by the famed filmmaker himself.

The nine-minute short film titled “KITA” will be served as the first film which is entirely shot using the vivi X50 Pro in Malaysia with the aim to commemorate Malaysia’s diverse cultures featuring the actual events about friendships amongst four students from different races and cultures. The whole film is indeed very heart capturing and it reminds me about those were the days and showing the lives of disparate individual crossing paths by accident, colliding by circumstance, and united by the thing in common: their identity as Malaysian.

And during the event, Mr Mike Xu, CEO of vivo Malaysia shared that vivo Malaysia takes pride in demonstrating national commemoration and reminding Malaysia to stand tall and strong together despite the challenges encountered in our life. And what makes Malaysia great is the unity among the people.

And for this short movie, the popular multilingual Malaysia Singer- Songwriter Shila Amzah also took part in this campaign pulling off a high-spirited theme song for vivo’s National Day film which was recorded in two languages, Mandarin and Malay.

For those who are not aware, in recent years vivo has intensified its effort in the photographic sector of their devices and their efforts have been proven effective and innovation has advanced significantly with the latest arrival of X50 Pro. Known for their true photography flagship smartphone, the X50 Pro integrates professional and industry leading photography technology.

And the film was beautifully produced by fully utilizing the features of X50 Pro such as the build in Gimbal Camera System that offers an all – around videography experience, allowing users to take a clear videos while in motion even at night. They are modelled after a full size professional gimbal, X50 Pro’s built in the miniature gimbal module which move the opposte direction of the shaking motions, which increased the stability fro the main camera where this comes in useful with most of the scenes in the short film made possible.

Not just that, the X50 Pro also brings you with the extraoridinary quality with other advance features such as the Extreme Night Vision ( Super Night Mode), 60x Hyper Zoom, Professional Portrait,  Super Wide Angle, Super Macro Functions and others- helping to archieve an all-rounder needs when shooting with different angels for diverse scene.

And with this Vivo Malaysia hopes to evoke viewers on the best moments of their friendships with this initiative designed around the concept of Malaysian coming together, uniting, different culture with diverse background.
