KFC Celebrates the Wonders of Malaysia with Cheezy Cheezy Malaysia

August 25, 2020 By StrawberrY Gal - Food News Leave a Comment

Malaysia will mark commemorative milestones in history with the upcoming celebrations of the 63rd year of achieving Independence. Truly Asia, Malaysia represents the best Asia has to offer with its rich and diverse beauty. We are spoilt for choice to go on ‘Cuti-Cuti Malaysia’ from breathtaking beaches, multicultural cities with extraordinary architecture, and the greenest highlands and rainforests. With over 700 restaurants nationwide, KFC is proud to play its part by serving Finger Lickin’ Good food at every corner of the country since 1973.

While KFC is no stranger to travelers around the world, there is one ooey-gooey cheesy menu that’s not available in any other country except Malaysia: KFC Malaysia’s very own Cheezy Wedges – potato wedges that are crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, topped with an abundance of KFC Malaysia’s signature creamy and decadent cheese sauce. An absolute favourite of Malaysians, Cheezy Wedges are also often sought by tourists to cross off in their  foods-to-try list as they explore the food haven that is Malaysia.

In anticipation of National and Malaysia Day, the all-new Cheezy Cheezy Malaysia combo features the iconic Cheezy Wedges with other Malaysian favourites: KFC’s Whipped Potato and KFC Original Recipe and Hot & Spicy fried chicken. Adding to the patriotic excitement, KFC is introducing Durian Balls on their menu for a limited time only. A delicious chewy texture with 100% pure premium D24 Durian filling, it is a perfect sweet addition to Malaysian favourites. Exclusive with every Cheezy Cheezy Malaysia purchase, customers can add-on 3 Durian Balls at RM3.90 only.

“COVID-19 has impacted Malaysians in many ways, including traveling. We are lucky in Malaysia to be able to still explore the many hidden gems in our own backyard. As we ease into the recovery phase, we want to celebrate the small wins and KFC Cheezy Cheezy Malaysia is our way.

Wherever you are in Malaysia; exploring or staying in with family or friends, KFC is ready to serve you, whether in a store nearby or just a click away online. Just don’t forget to put on a face mask when coming to our stores, as strict safety measures are still in place,” said Angelina Villanueva, Chief Marketing Officer of KFC Malaysia.

Available for a limited time, Cheezy Cheezy Malaysia is launching tomorrow (26th August 2020) starting at RM15.50. Adding to the national celebrations, online orders via KFC Malaysia app or web can enjoy RM6.30 off (with a minimum purchase of RM25) from 26 August – 16 September 2020 by using voucher code: MERDEKA63. Just download the KFC App or login to KFC.com.my.

KFC Cheezy Cheezy Malaysia combos are available at KFC stores nationwide. You can beat the queue and opt for Contactless by ordering ‘Self Collect’ or ‘Delivery’ online at KFC.com.my and on the KFC mobile app. Self-Collect is a convenient and easy service that allows customers to select their preferred time and outlet for quick pick-up-and-go service.
