KEEP A COOL HEAD THIS SUMMER WITH THE COFFEE BEAN & TEA LEAF®

June 29, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

Hot, humid weather calls for cold treats and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® (CB&TL) has just what it takes to cool off! The newly-updated selection features Cookies & Cream as its centrepiece and two new bagel options, coming at the perfect time as businesses reopen and more people find themselves in need of a refreshing pick-me-up.

“As Malaysians roll up their sleeves and start getting used to the ‘new normal’, we hope that these offerings will keep their energy levels up. Whether it’s a working lunch or an individual chill-out time, a refreshing treat and savoury snack will no doubt help to keep everyone on track,” said Fiona Rodrigues, Director of Marketing & Development, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® Malaysia.

These two brand-new beverages are guaranteed to delight your tastebuds – Midnight Cookies & Cream Ice Blended® and Pure Midnight Cookies & Cream Ice Blended® (small RM17.20, regular RM18.70)! Customers can also opt for familiar favourites such as Vanilla Cookies & Cream Ice Blended®, Pure Vanilla Cookies & Cream Ice Blended®, Mocha Cookies & Cream Ice Blended® and Pure Chocolate Cookies & Cream Ice Blended® (small RM15.40, regular RM16.90).

Furthermore, beginning 1 July, enjoy the new rich and creamy Midnight Mocha beverages which combine dark chocolate syrup with CB&TL’s bold Cold Brew, resulting in dark and delicious crafted beverages that are sure to satisfy your chocolate and coffee cravings. Treat yourself to a Midnight Mocha Cold Brew Latte (RM13.80) or Midnight Mocha Nitro Latte (RM15.70).

Pair these with your choice of delicious new bagels (available from 2 July onwards), great for a light lunch or mid-afternoon break – try The OG Bagel baked with garlic, onion and parsley for a savoury bite or grab the Sambal Bilis Bagel for a spicy Malaysian twist (RM9.50 per piece or RM15 with Today’s Brew/Hot Tea).

And if that’s not enough, how about personalizing a favourite beverage? Now, customers have the option to upgrade their go-to Ice Blended® beverage with Cookies & Cream goodness – just ‘Add Cookies’! If it’s too hard to decide what to try first, fret not – these ready-to-order options are sure to be a hit – Hazelnut Cookies & Cream Ice Blended®, Single Origin Mocha Cookies & Cream Ice Blended® and Pure Single Origin Chocolate Cookies & Cream Ice Blended®!

Lastly, what’s summer without fresh fruits and beautiful flowers? The new Yuzu Apple Cake (RM13.95 per slice, RM139.90 for a whole cake) is a tangy yet luscious treat combining the delicate flavour of yuzu with apple in white chocolate, or be mesmerised by the beautiful Peach Blooming Tea (RM16 per pot for dine-in, RM50 per tin of five blooms). Finally, stay cool, hydrated and stylish with the latest selection of pretty Be Wild tumblers (ranging between RM75-148) for a delightful outlook of flowers wherever you go!

Enjoy all these and more to cool down, perk up or just give your family and friends a creamy treat with this Cookie Hour Promotion*, applicable at all operating stores in Peninsular Malaysia from 26 June – 10 July 2020! From 3pm-8pm, enjoy a buy 1 free 1 special on Mocha beverages, which consist of The Original Mocha Ice Blended® drink, Mocha Cookies & Cream Ice Blended® drink, The Ultimate Mocha Ice Blended® drink, Pure Chocolate Cookies & Cream Ice Blended® drink, Mocha Latte (hot and iced), Café Mocha and Moroccan Mint Tea Latte (hot and iced)!
