Yakiimo BENI NAGOMI @ AEON BIG Mid Valley

March 10, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

It is always an enjoyable moment when I have some sweet potatoes for breakfast or even snacks. And for those who are not aware, Yakiimo Sweet Potatoes are one of my favourites where they are deliciously good with the sweet bites and bringing you with loads of benefits.

For those who are not aware, YAKIIMO BENI NAGOMI (極甘) is a Japanese Sweet Potato variant, which is carefully cultivated in the warm regions of Ibaraki, Japan. They are considered one of the most delicious and sweetest Yakiimo (meaning sweet potato in Japanese) from Japan.

Being that, these sweet potatoes are different from the usual potatoes where they are actually aged in a special temperature warehouse for over 3 months, before they are meticulously baked in a far-infrared oven, to optimise the taste and sweetness of the Yakiimo. During this aging process, no artificial additives are added.

For those who are not aware, YAKIIMO BENI NAGOMI brings you with the good source of vitamins and minerals, in particular for Vitamin A in its raw form and once cooked, small variable changes in micronutrient density occur to include a higher content of vitamin C. Asides from that, they complete with the high quality source of protein with no saturated fats. It also completes with the source of complex carb to help fuel your body.

Asides from that, they are complete with the source of complex carb to help fuel your body. Even thought it comes with the high starch content, they are also considered to have a low-glycaemic index (GI ) food by the American Diabetes Association. This makes it a healthy food choice for diabetics
healthy food choice for diabetics. And one Japanese sweet potato offers 4.6 grams of dietary fiber, which is the front-runner for keeping your digestive system healthy

YAKIIMO BENI NAGOMI 極甘, is currently available at AEON Big Mid Valley and Jaya Grocer, Main Place. And for now, they are having a great promotion where :
