Vivo New 5G Model Exposed: Tipped to Offer Super FlashCharge 55W acceleration technology on the upcoming NEX series

February 17, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

With the rapid development of technology today, the smartphone market is currently in a state of oversupply. To invent or create a mobile phone with cutting-edge technology and distinctive design has become the focus for mobile phone manufacturers. Entering a new chapter of mobile phone competition in 2020, the mobile phone manufactures have started to exert the efforts to invent innovative products based on all the research from the past years.

It could be said that 5G is no longer a ‘new’ thing, as 5G networks are slowly starting to roll out across much of the world, but there still aren’t a huge number of 5G phones in the market. Throughout 2019, vivo, one of the leading technology company, has launched a number of innovative smartphones in which three of the most acclaimed 5G-supported smartphones, include vivo NEX 3 5G, iQOO Pro 5G, and vivo X30 series. While only the former has been launched in Malaysia with 5G-supported device, however, NEX 3 5G will only be activated till the 5G band to be officially rolled out in Malaysia.

Recently, a new vivo model V1955A has pass through the National 3C Quality Verification on 17th January 2020 in China. According to an expert from the industry, this new model will be equipped with Snapdragon 865 processor that could support dual-mode of 5G network.

Not to mention, vivo has also filed to obtain a trademark for the Super FlashCharge from the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). As the name makes abundantly clear, vivo will be using Super FlashCharge as the marketing name for its proprietary charging technology for an upcoming phone.

There is no word about when or on what phone the Super FlashCharge technology will debut. However, based on the certified information, the 55W Super FlashCharge is most likely to be equipped in the upcoming NEX 5G series. With this, the new vivo model could be arriving with support for the highest charging rare seen on a vivo phone.

Being seen as one of the most appointed high-end vivo smartphone among others, vivo NEX series has always featured revolutionary technology with innovative design. By looking into the lastest vivo NEX 3, it was embedded with the built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus Mobile Platform, while it drives strong and durable device performance.

That said, with the launching of vivo’s Super FlashCharge technology, it will definitely be adding value to the upcoming vivo NEX series for the mobile phone enthusiasts to be worth looking at.
