The Penang famous Roti Benggali @ Maliia Bakery

December 10, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

For most Penangties, We have grown up with this. I still remember when we a kid, we often wait for the afternoon bicycle, or motorcycle to pass our house and We get to buy the snacks as well as roti benggali.

The Penny’s very own roti benggali is the fragrant loaf of bread that comes with the crispy crust and fluffy bread. And, now it is kinda hard to find them as they are only left three roti benggali bakeries in Penang.

And usually, I will have it with kaya and margarine. This is where one side of bread is spread with the creamy fragrant Kaya and another is Margarine. Or you can have them with curries as Well.

The roti benggali is priced at RM2 for a set.
