REWIND & REPLAY : Dewa 19 in Concert at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali

For the second edition of its popular Marriott Bonvoy concert series, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali is delighted to announce that Dewa 19 will be performing live on Friday, 31st January 2020. Music lovers are in for a real treat with an evening of great sounds by one of Indonesia’s all-time favorite bands. 

Happening at the resort’s Mangupura Hall in the adjacent Bali International Convention Centre, Dewa 19 will have the whole place rocking. This multi-faceted venue is the only one of its kind on the island of Bali to feature a permanent stage that is supported by a state-of-the-art audiovisual system. Dewa 19 is an iconic Indonesian rock band that was first formed in 1986 in Surabaya, East Java. Although there have been many lineup changes over the years, the band has enjoyed mainstream success due to its dedicated fan base. This reunion concert will feature multi-talented musician and former band member Once Mekel on lead vocals. Having maintained a visible presence on Indonesia’s music scene for almost 30 years, Dewa 19 will turn back time with classic hits such as Kangen, Separuh Nafas and Arjuna. The band will also play some newer hits that will resonate with fans of all ages. 

To open the concert, there will be a special performance by RAN. This three-piece Indonesian pop/rock band have been around for several years with a soulful style of music that blends elements of jazz, R&B, hip hop and funk.
