The Rat is the first sign from the 12 animals cycle of the Chinese Zodiac, and for this reason, this time period is considered a year of new beginnings and renewals. Welcoming the year of metal rat with the tradition of family & friends gathered for the auspicious occasion. It’s a wonderful reason to get together with the loved ones as well as loyal clients, business associates and colleagues.

Begin the celebration by tossing towards a fantastic New Year with the Yee Sang Offerings available
from 6 January – 10 February 2020. Available for dine-in or takeaway, select from a wondrous array
of specially created Yee Sang sets such as:

From 1 st January 2020 – 10 th February 2020, the Chinese New Year Prosperity Set Menus featuring
a mix of classic dishes as well as Chef James specialties, become available for gatherings with friends and family. Take advantage of these special menus – Prosperity Menu A (RM1,288nett per table of 10 persons), Prosperity Menu B (RM1,688nett per table 10 persons) and Prosperity Menu C (RM2,188nett per table of 10 persons). Menu B & C includes a bottle of House Wine or Sparkling Wine.

We welcome the Lion Dance Troup to the hotel on the 8th Day of Chinese New Year and everyone’s invited. The Lion troupe commences to ‘bless’ the hotel offices and outlets and shall end with an acrobatic stunt performance at the main lobby at 12:30pm.

Summer Palace provides for any dining soiree. For those opting for private dining, Summer Palace has Private Rooms catering to a maximum of 40 pax making it the apt choice for business discussions or even family gatherings. Summer Palace is ideal for weddings as well; catering up to 250 pax, the elegant oriental setting and enchanting ambiance will create everlasting memories for you and your guests.
