Yakiguni Maitake Mushroom

October 16, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Enjoy the best of mushroom here. It is my first time trying this awesome Yukiguni Maitake mushrooms that are all natural and cultivated with neither chemicals nor pesticides.

Being known as “the dancing mushroom”, Yukiguni Maitake mushrooms are farmed in a facility, so you can even enjoy them without washing.

Yukiguni Maitake mushrooms are not just tasty but also full of health benefits. One of the benefits is it contains guanylic acid. This ingredient helps to draw out the umami in the food. With this, it makes your food taste better and more flavourful.

The Protease enzymes in the mushroom itself breaks down the protein in the meat which makes the dish softer and at the same time, it will bring up the overall taste of the dish.

Compared with other mushrooms, Yukiguni Maitake is low in water content. Even if you cook them, they still deliver a crispy texture and add a feeling of volume to your dish.

Aside from bringing up the taste of the dish you cook, the mushroom itself also contains high fibre that can help in relieving constipation.

And they are loaded with the alpha (α) and beta (β) glucans that improve immune strength.  And this will help to improve the immune system as well as can help to recover influenza and cancer fighting effect.  It can also keep your blood sugar down as well!

With all the benefits, of course I am in love with the Yukiguni Maitake mushrooms. And being a busy working mum, I am only able to cook simple meals. I am trying my best to give the best to my children and I have my favorite Mushroom Aglio Olio.

Ingredients:
1. 2 tablespoon of olive oil
2. 1 tablespoon of parsley
3. A little chili flakes
4. Yukiguni Maitake
5. Spaghetti
6. Sliced garlic

Method
1. Boil the water and cook your spaghetti with a little olive oil and salt added in it.
2. In another pan, toss the olive oil with the sliced garlic until fragrant.
3. Then, add in Yukiguni Maitake mushrooms and black pepper. toss until fragrant.
4. Add in the spaghetti and toss.
5. Ready to eat.

It is time to savour your delicious meals with the Japanese mushroom. There are many ways to cook Maitake mushrooms – stir fry, boil, bake, deep fry and more. You can purchase maitake mushrooms at major AEON shopping malls.
