October 1, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Famed for their Japanese Cuisine, Iketeru @ Hilton Kuala Lumpur offers you with the wide variety of Japanese Cuisine that will definitely tempt you for more. And this time, Iketeru brings you with the delicious Sake Dinner which comes marvellous and mind blowing.

And this time, one can enjoy the beautifully crafted menu which is available from 1-10 October 2019. The 5 course sake pairing menu is priced at RM 500 nett per person bringing you the special created menu by Chef Masami Okamoto.

The marvellous pairing menu allowing you to enjoy the different layers of flavours to be brought out and enhanced.

First course – Appetiser & Kubota Senjyu
We started our meals with the boiled chrysanthemum flower and leaf in bonito sauce along with deep-fried mackerel marinated in vinegar sauce. Paired with Kubota Senjyu, a food-friendly sake that comes with a clean aftertaste. The dish comes amazingly good where the ingredients are fresh and brings you with the great after taste blend.

Second course – Otsuruki & Kikumasamune Honjyozou Atsukan
Filled up our tummy with the awesomely delicious Yellowfin sashimi  which is drizzled with lemon soy sauce paired with Kikumasamune Honjyozou Atsukan. It is served hot, the sake is smooth and dry. The crisp, clean finish goes well with any Japanese dish. The yellowtail sashimi is perfectly good where every mouthful lies the freshness and once is dipped with the lemon soy sauce, it brings up the umami taste of it.

Third course – Yakimono & a Koshi No Kanbai Muku
Grilled salmon leek miso Furofuki Daikon with beef Shigure accompanied by Gingko nuts and the Hajikami ginger. Served with Koshi No Kanbai Muku, the pure rice flavours creates breadth and depth.

Fourth course – Nimono & Dai-Shinshu Karakuchi
Deliciously done. One can enjoy the simmered herring with vegetables served with Dai-Shinshu Karakuchi. A well-balanced, smooth sake with an outstanding aroma that envelopes the dry aftertaste.

Fifth course – Agemono & Hakkaisan Seishu

Enjoy the Mushroom Tempura with prawn paste paired with Hakkaisan Seishu. Sides with the light and dry sake with a subtle flavour that can be enjoyed on all occasions.

Oshokuji & dessert (Kurikintoki and Shiratama)

And we ends our meal with the Finish the meal with the three kinds of Nigiri sushi, Kaki fruits, and traditional Japanese desserts
