PINK-OUT @ UTARA, HOTEL ARMADA PETALING JAYA THIS PINKTOBER

September 24, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

In support of the Pink Ribbon cause, Utara restaurant at Hotel Armada Petaling Jaya will be blushing pink throughout all Sundays in October with PINKtober, a pink-themed afternoon hi-tea to assist the Breast Cancer Foundation to increase awareness around breast cancer and empower and support people affected by it.

General Manager, Hoon Tai Chee said “In the fight against breast cancer, Hotel Armada Petaling Jaya is proud to be a part of such a worthy cause as any role we can play in combatting this awful disease has got to be good.”

In an effort to raise awareness, Hotel Armada Petaling Jaya has developed a selection of pink-themed food and beverage Afternoon Hi-Tea at their all day dining restaurant, Utara. In addition to the eye- catching pink-coloured culinary offerings, extensive Vegan dishes are also featured as a vegan diet is
 potentially beneficial in cancer prevention.

By dining at the Pinktober Afternoon Hi-Tea at Utara, Hotel Armada Petaling Jaya guests will be making a difference as 10% of their total bill will go towards the Breast Cancer Foundation in their bid to create broader awareness that early detection and treatment of breast cancer can save lives. The foundation will be at Utara on Sunday, 6th October to educate guests on how to do a breast self-exam.

Also in partnership with Hotel Armada Petaling Jaya is Kuvings Malaysia who will be providing guests with a Free Health Screening that includes Blood Pressure Check, Blood Glucose Check and a Body Composition Analysis. Additionally, they will be demonstrating several Cancer Prevention Juicing recipes which guests can taste as free juice will be distributed. Kuvings Malaysia will be at Utara on 6 th, 13th & 20th October.

Available on all Sundays throughout October 2019, the PINKtober Afternoon Hi-Tea is priced at RM78+ per person from 12noon to 4pm. The afternoon hi-tea will include favourites such as Daging Masak Assam Pedas, Roti Durian, Sotong Kangkung with Tauhu Sumbat, Pasembor and many more.
All diners at Utara’s PINKtober Afternoon Hi-Tea will stand a chance to win a FREE Reliable Ryan
Juicer worth RM 1598.00 courtesy of Kuvings Malaysia. The Lucky Draw winner will be announced
in November 2019.
