A Brand New Afternoon Tea Set at The Lounge of JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong

September 17, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

For fashionistas to relax and unwind after a shopping spree at the luxury Pacific Place, JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong is the perfect destination with a range of delectable dining options. Boasting ceiling-to-floor windows with panoramic harbour and city views, The Lounge offers a stylish and cosy ambience for family and friends gatherings. This welcoming restaurant is now presenting a brand new afternoon tea set incorporating refreshing flavours of traditional English and Cantonese savouries and desserts.

Exquisitely crafted by the talented culinary team, the enticing new menu uses the finest ingredients of the season. Start this amazing journey with the Osmanthus Oolong Bliss Welcome Tea, followed by an indulgent series of tantalising treats served on a three-tiered, silver stand. New gourmet savouries on the top and middle tiers include duck foie gras pâté, melon & grape brioche with fig jam, Ibérico ham with fresh figs, wheat baguette & brie cheese, mango lobster salad with caviar, abalone tart, tiger prawn spring roll and cured Japanese Momotaro tomato with preserved plum sauce. Rounding out the bottom tier are the sweet bites featuring strawberry breton, matcha tiramisu, red velvet cupcake, yuzu macaron, sakura swiss roll and lemon mint mousse, paired with freshly baked plain and raisin scones with jam and Devonshire clotted cream. The elegant afternoon tea experience is not completed without a cup of TEA WG tea or a Graffeo coffee served in the Narumi bone china tea set. Top it up with a glass of Moёt & Chandon champagne with an additional HK$100 per person to enhance this amazing dining experience.

Available between 3:30pm and 6pm daily, the prices of the Afternoon Tea Set at The Lounge are as follows:

Monday through Friday                           : HK$268/person; HK$468/two persons

Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays    : HK$288/person; HK$488/two persons

All prices are inclusive of welcome tea and coffee, and subject to a 10% service charge. For enquiry and reservation, call +852 2810 8366 or email [email protected].
