Beauty In The Pot (美滋锅) @ Sky Avenue Genting Highlands

June 3, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Having steamboat in a cold weather would be one of the best choice. Being in Genting Highlands, we had finally entered one of the delicious Steamboat Restaurant called – Beauty In The Pot ( 美滋锅).

The Singaporean Brand Steamboat Restaurant under Paradise Group of Restaurant would definitely won’t disappointment with the luxurious steamboat.  Why it is called beauty in the Pot is because their broth is full with collagen where they added in premium ingredients to the soup to enrich the taste and the effect as well.

And this place is simply a long queue where we are there around 12 pm and the queue with at least 20- 30 pax. And this restaurant added some love to their hotpot restaurant where they have a play area for the kids to play and run around. So, it would not be too bored for the kids  to wait as well as not bugging you all the time.

Their shop comes with the pastel pink interior which definitely captured my attention. Oh my PINK is everywhere and it is simply beautiful and the colors come soft as well. The waitress will held you with a pad and you can order the food via the ipad or even the hardcover book menu.

There are types of 6 Broth/Soup available for you to choose :

1. Beauty Collagen (胶原蛋白养颜美容锅)
2. Vitamin C Tomato Sweet Corn (维他命C番茄玉米锅)
3. Herbal Drunken Chicken ( 养生药膳醉鸡锅)
4. Cooling Coconut (清凉解热雪耳椰子锅)
5. Spicy Nourishing “Malat” ( 滋补养身香辣锅)
6. Longevity Wild Mushroom Broth (长生抗癌松茸野菌锅)

You can choose the broth you love and each broth is price differently. You can choose single pot, twin pot or quart pot where the price of the soup is priced differently according to which pot you choose. As for us, we choose Beauty Collagen (胶原蛋白养颜美容锅), . Spicy Nourishing “Malat” ( 滋补养身香辣锅). . Longevity Long Pine Mushroom (长生抗癌松茸野菌锅) and Cooling Coconut (清凉解热雪耳椰子锅). Each of the flavours are really good and every mouthful is packed with the aromatic flavours.

Sides them with your choices of meats and seafood. Have them with the specialty meat platter where you can have the sliced pork belly, Spain Iberico pork, US marbled Beef cubes and Sliced Australian Beef. Tender and juicy meat to go for. Swish Swish till perfection and you will definitely in love with it.

Don’t miss out the delicious – Assorted Paste Platter (RM 48.80). The platter comes with the Ebiko Prawn Platter, Pork Paste and the Paste of The Day. Each of it is home-made bringing you with the delicious bouncy bites of the meat itself. Yummy!

They also served a variety of handmade balls too where for first timer you can go for the Assorted Balls Platter (RM 26.50) which comes with their signature Teochew Style Fish Balls, Soft Bone Pork Meat Balls, Black Pepper Pork Meat Balls and Cuttlefish Balls.

Do savor the plentiful choices of seafood there. There is wide variety of Fresh Red Leg Sea Prawn (RM 34 (150g)| RM 68 (300g)). The prawns comes simply fresh and the met are also bouncy as well. They also have squids, fresh cuttlefish, baby octopus, red clams, 10-head abalone and more.

Must have includes their Fried Beancurd Skin (RM 11 (half portion)| RM 22 (full portion)). Dipped them in the broth for  “3 seconds” and you can enjoy this delicious bean curd which is well absorb with the flavors of the soup itself.

And of course, you can pair them together the wide choices of sauces where they have few choices to go for. You can use their recommended list of sauces to paired with your food.  And they also have unlimited choices of fruits to go for as well.

If you are looking for a great delicious and comfort dining in Genting, Beauty in the Pot is one of the place to dine here.
