The Tai Pan Debuts the Sunday Brunch of Choice

May 16, 2019 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Promotion Leave a Comment

From May 2019 onwards, The Tai Pan offers the Sunday brunch of choice with a veritable feast for all ages and fun-filled activities for the young ones.

The elegant semi-buffet begins with freshly shucked French oysters served by the table, followed by made-to-order scrambled eggs and creamed green asparagus topped with lavender foam. Guests help themselves to a delightful spread of all-time favourites – from healthy salads, smoked seafood, charcuterie and pastries to premium cheese selection. Gourmet lovers should look no further than the crispy and succulent Roast Peking Duck at the carvery station. Freshly prepared on the spot, the Gemelli Pasta fills the dining room with the tantalising aroma of puttanesca sauce.

Epicures are spoiled with a selection of six main courses to choose from. Green Pea Barley Risotto, enriched with Hon Shimeji mushroom, crispy shallot and light Parmesan foam, offers interesting layers of texture in one bite. For the Roast Chicken Roulade, another highlight of the brunch, the French corn-fed chicken is accompanied with heirloom carrots prepared three ways – shavings, grilled with cumin seeds and puréed with ginger, showcasing the versatility of ingredients and creativity of the mastermind behind the dish. For an extra indulgence, Half Maine Lobster Thermidor with brown butter béarnaise sauce and Grilled Dry-Aged Prime Beef Rib Rye from Australia are available at a supplement of HK$98 and HK$128, respectively.

Those with a sweet tooth are tempted with our impressive dessert station, presenting The Murray’s art of confectionery. Guests can also opt for a special beverage package to enjoy unlimited pours of NV “R” de Ruinart Brut champagne, beer, house white and red wines.

While adults are immersed in the sumptuous feast, younger guests are well taken care of – a delectable array of kids’ favourites from ice cream cart and mini burger to cheese macaroni and popcorn is offered, along with rotating activities such as face painting, balloon twisting and magic performance to keep them entertained.
