The Shilla Seoul, flagship hotel of The Shilla Hotels & Resorts, celebrates its 40th anniversary this March. Over the last four decades, this prestigious property has displayed traditional Korean heritage and refined luxury while delivering premium hospitality to local guests and international visitors.
To commemorate this milestone, The Shilla Seoul presents an exclusive accommodation package that also coincides with the Spring season. Available until June 30, the “Urban Escape” package grants all-day access to the recently-reopened Urban Island, The Shilla Seoul’s outdoor oasis. Open daily from 10am, at Urban Island guests can lap up the luxury of the heated pools and Jacuzzis, or soak up the warm rays at the rooftop garden. For those who prefer a private retreat, the Urban Island’s tiered cabanas are nestled in lush greenery, creating secluded, exclusive hideaways.
The Shilla Seoul’s “Urban Escape” package includes the following privileges (for a minimum two-night stay):
– Accommodation in the Executive Grand Deluxe Room
– Complimentary all-day access to the Urban Island outdoor pool*
– USD 200 credit for The Shilla Seoul’s restaurants, The Library, Pastry Boutique and in-room dining
– Complimentary access to the indoor pool and gym
– Complimentary indoor sauna services
– Complimentary access to The Executive Lounge
Prices are based on two persons sharing a room and start from KRW 430,000 per night.
With access to the Executive Lounge, guests can experience complimentary dining services throughout the day. Against a backdrop of Mt Nasam and views of downtown Seoul, visitors can start their day with a healthy breakfast and later enjoy light snacks weekdays or a brunch menu on weekends. Afternoon tea is available daily from 3.30pm and guests can watch the day transition into night during Happy Hour from 6pm.
A member of The Leading Hotels of the World, The Shilla Seoul takes its name from the ancient Shilla Dynasty, a period of peak cultural prosperity in Korea. With its prestige location, intuitive service, and modern design, the property is constantly ranked among Korea’s most in-demand destinations.
Situated in the heart of the city against a backdrop of Mount Namsan, The Shilla Seoul is surrounded by Seoul’s must-see attractions and key districts. The property’s 464 exquisitely appointed guest rooms and suites and elegant public spaces were refurbished in 2013 by award-winning designer Peter M. Remedios. The new look of Korea’s most iconic hotel showcases a refreshing, modern sensibility while keeping traditional Korean cultural elements deeply embedded within the property.
*Urban Island will be available from March 23.
