Recipe
✅200 g unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
✅160 g caster sugar
✅1/2 tsp salt
✅500g all purpose flour
✅40g cornflour
✅8 cooked salted egg yolks (mashed)
✅1 egg yolk, lightly beaten to glaze
✅white sesame seeds to sprinkle
Instruction
1. Beat the butter, sugar, salt together
2. Then add in flour, cornflour, and the mashed salted egg yolk
3. Beat them with the mixer or you can use your hand to make the crumb
4. Rest the dough for 30 minutes
5. Line in the Baking tray paper and preheat oven to 180 degrees
6. Place the dough on the lightly floured surface and roll them around 3-4 mm thickness
7. Cut them unto shapes you desire
8. Brush the cookie with egg yolk and sprinkled some sesame seeds on them
9. Bake for 17 minutes or until golden brown
10. Allow the cookie to cold down completely before putting into the container.
