Celebrate Your Chinese New Year @ Grand Imperial Group

January 22, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

G

Grand Imperial is one of the restaurants which is famed for their Chinese Cuisine. And this year, Grand Imperial welcomes the Chinese New Year with their delicious set menu which is priced from RM 1188++ ( for 10 person).

This round, we tried out their RM 1488++ set where they come with the 10 course delightful meal.  We started off tossing our prosperity this year with the Yee Sang with Crispy Dried Scallop and Japanese Sesame. Enjoy the delightful yee sang which is packed with the flavours and freshness. Nicely prepared.

And in conjunction with the Pig Year, Grand Imperial come up with the beautiful pig yee sang where the huge yee sang is decorated with the look of a pig. Not just that, they are packed with the loads of ingredients such as scallops, abalone and more. Booking required if you are looking for this piggy yee sang.

Whole Abalone Double Boiled with Sea Cucumber and Chinese Cabbage (Individual Serving)
The soup comes simply awesome where the soup comes hot and bring us such a tummy warming delights. And in it, you can find the whole abalone with the sea cucumber and Chinese vegetable. The taste comes simply delicious with the hint of sourish from the Chinese cabbage. Yet, it comes simply appetizing.

Spanish Iberico Spare Ribs Baked with Red Wine Accompanied with the Deep  Fried “Wanton “
One of the signatures in Grand Imperial. The iberico spare ribs are perfectly good where the meat comes simply juicy and melts in the mouth. The meat comes with the perfect juiciness and every mouthful is divinely delicious.  Sides with the beautifully decorated “Deep Fried Wanton” which looks like flower.

Steamed Giant Grouper with Shredded Meat & Shredded Preserved Vegetable
Fresh and flaky giant grouper meat where they are beautifully steam. One of my favourite of the day as well.

Deep Fried Sea Prawn With Salt & Pepper
The fresh sea prawns come perfectly delicious with the hint of light saltiness and the umphh from the pepper. Delicious combination.

Steamed Rice with Chinese Waxed Meat and Chestnut in Casserole
And of course, in any Chinese dinner you will not leave without trying their rice.  Grand Imperial uses the premium waxed meat and they are steamed perfectly. Fragrantly done.

Chilled Lemon Grass Jelly with Longan and Passion Fruit

Baked Red Bean Paste Puff Accompanied with the Steamed Red Bean “Nian Gao” with Shreded Coconut

Ends your meal with some hearty homemade desserts after the delicious meal. The menu is available at the below Grand Imperial Restaurant. Do book your table early.
