MOONBEAMS OF HARMONY AT THE NEW RED

Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre Hotel & Residences will celebrate the forthcoming Mid-Autumn Festival with a contemporary selection of artisan snow skin mooncakes, alongside an exquisitie range of traditional baked mooncakes by Red. The new series highlights two signatures; Red Velvet with Cheese and Bamboo Charcoal Paste with Macadamia Nuts and Raisins. Mooncakes are available from 14 August to 24 September 2018.

Elegantly encased in the auspicious colours of red, this year’s seasonal treats are the best gifts for expressing gradtitude and love, while reveling in the spirit of reunion.

Complementing the new series is the Five Variety Nuts with Handmade XO sauce. This mooncake recipe uses superior dried scallops that enhances its exquisite flavours, making it a classic delight.
Fans of the baked variety can experience the new and innovative Bamboo Charcoal Paste with Macadamia Nuts and Raisins. Delight in the sweetness of lotus paste combined with raisins and crunchy Macadamia nuts, wrapped in a light butter pastry mixed with bamboo charcoal.

For connoisseurs of snow skin mooncakes, one of the two newly introduced signatures, Red Velvet with Cheese mooncake, was inspired by the American red velvet cake and is a gem to be discovered. Get ready to indulge in its smooth, velvety skin with a hint of tangy cheese.

Fall in love with Red’s Coffee and Oreo snow skin mooncake which evokes nostalgic memories of everyone’s favourite childhood biscuit. With a dainty light brown shade, lotus paste blends smoothly with coffee extract for a punch of flavour, that also lingers on the palate with every bite.
Conventional Mooncake favourites such as the Single Egg Yolk with White Lotus Paste will be available for those who prefer adhering to old traditions. Its mild, subtle flavour provides a guilt-free indulgence. A decadent treat for those with a sweet palate are the Yam Paste with Vanilla Baked Mooncake, Chocolate and Peppermint Snow Skin Mooncake, and Sweet Corn and Salted Egg Yolk Snow Skin Mooncake.

Our exquisite moonckaes are sold invidually or in combinations of four. Standard mooncakes are priced at RM100 per box, while premium mooncakes are priced at RM140 per box. Single mooncakes are priced between RM25 and RM35. All mooncakes are on display and available for purchase at Red, Level 2 and Junction, Lobby Level of Pullman KLCC, from 11am to 8pm, daily. A bulk purchase discount of 10% is available for purchases of 10 boxes and above; while a 20% discount is available for purchases of 50 boxes and above. Accor Plus members will receive a 20% discount on every purchase of a box of 4 pieces of mooncake. Complimentary delivery to any preferred location within a 5km radius of Pullman KLCC is provided for orders of 10 boxes or more.
