RD90 Dining & Bar @ TREC : Japanese Chinese Fusion Delights

June 13, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

RD90 is a Japanese Chinese Fusion cuisine restaurant and sake bar in TREC KL. And here you can have your delicious Japanese Style Chinese Cuisine paired with the Japanese Sake prepared by their Master Chef , Chef Fukino.

Chef Fukino who is the master chef behind RD90 has over 30 years of professional experience as Japanese Chinese fusion cuisine chef in Japan, Vietnam, and Indonesia. He started his career in Ginza where is the most famous upscale shopping, dining, and entertainment district in Tokyo, Japan. He has been headhunted several times to be a master chef or to open new restaurants in Japan and as well as outside of Japan. He also has been appeared on TV shows.

And this time, we started our meal with the Assorted Three Appetizers (RM 29). We had the Three Appetizers where one was the Sweet & Sour Jelly fish, Steamed Chicken and The Salad. The combination was fascinating and everything was deliciously done. The steamed chicken was one of my favorite with the tender juicy chicken meat with the top of wolfberry.

Sashimi Ume (RM 59)
We had the Sashimi Ume where the sashimi platter came with 3 choices of sashimi which were the salmon, toro and kampachi. Each piece of the sashimi came pretty thick and the sweetness and freshness was just perfect. Such an indulgence!

Gyoza (RM 12)
We loved how the gyoza where the gyoza was simply lovely. I loved the moist and juicy meat.

Braised Blue Crab  and Glass Noodles (RM 35)
We never a fan of Blue Crab but this one had made us wanted for more. The Blue Crab was perfectly cooked with their signature Saikyo Miso Sauce and every mouthful was sinfully addictive and delicious. We were truly indulged with every bites of it.

Stir Fried Pork  (RM 18)
As for me, I was totally in love with the Stir Fried Pork where the tender and juicy pork was perfectly stir fried with the sweet and sour sauce. Addictively delicious.

Tan Tan Ramen (RM 28)
For those who love ramen, the Tan Tan Ramen was good but it was too spicy to me. The Szechuan Spicy Ramen comes amazingly delicious but beware of the spiciness and the kick from the peppercorn in it.

For those who are looking for a place to drink and also to enjoy delicious Japanese Chinese Fusion delights, RD 90 is indeed a good choice.
