January 22, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

For the love of Summer Fruits; is time to buy more and grab the freshest Fruits with the Australia Cherry and Summer Fruits. And this time, I am a happy girl again where I can now look forward to enjoy the fresh, juicy and delicious cherries, peaches, apricots, nectarines and plums.
Being invited for a great launch of the Taste Australia which was held at Tesco Village Mall, it is indeed a great pleasure to know and learn about these delicious fruits. This national horticulture marketing campaign is coordinated by the State Government of Victoria (Australia) in collaboration with Austrade and Hort Innovation Australia on behalf of the cherry and summer fruit industries.

For those who are not aware, Australia is one of the countries which is famed for their high quality produce where you can have the simply the best Australian Cherry and the Summer Fruits. These items ae simply fresh and juicy. Apart from cherries which is popular among the locals , I am also a big fans of their favourite summer stone fruits which includes peaches, nectarines, plums, apricots.

And this time, I can grab all this fruits to make my favourite smoothies bowl, popsicles, salad or smoothies .

During the event, we also get the opportunity to learn from Marissa Parry, Nutritionist and Health advocate how to make refreshing recipes using the seasonal fruits. Some of her recipes includes Breakfast Summer Smoothie Bowl, Fresh fruit popsicles and Fresh Summer Salad.

And this recipes are not just colourful and Instagram friendly but they are also having great nutritional values.

For example,
✔️Cherries and stone fruits – rich in vitamins and potassium, low in fat, calories and sugar.
✔️Nectarines (ex: Peaches):  High amount of potassium are great for muscle function and is believed to make skin healthier while offering vision-supporting nutrients.
✔️Nectarines (ex:  Apricots) : Support a healthy heart and eye function while aiding in digestion.
✔️Nectarines (ex:  Plums) : Have antioxidants which can fight off free radicals and protect the skin.
✔️Nectarines (ex:  cherries ) : The Superfood on its own.

With the high quality of nutrients and good benefits in life, why not heads to get  these seasonal summer fruits, check out the special promotions offered at all Tesco outlets. Apart from that, Australian cherries and summer fruits will also be available at leading supermarkets and hypermarkets throughout the season
