Celebrate Chinese New Year with Six Treasure Traditions at The Eatery, Four Points by Sheraton Puchong

January 20, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

During this festive season, celebrate your Chinese New Year with the delectable meals here you will be enjoying a great meal in their signature restaurant, The Eatery. The Eatery have prepared a myriad of mouth watering dishes including the bountiful Six Treassure Yee Sang which is the star here.
And in Four Points by Sheraton, they also have 9 –course lunch and dinner set, where you can enjoy the intimate dining experience with your love one.
Six Treasure Yee Sang ( RM 215 nett per platter)
Starts up your meals with the delicious tempting yee sang where the yee sang completes with the sashimi grade salmon, white tuna, jellyfish, smoked salmon and soy marinated clam, grated vegetables, pickled leek, preserved papaya and crispy   with treasures and blackcurrant –plum dressing. They are simply appetising and delicious. Asides from the six treasure yee sang, they do have other selection like Snow Pear Yee Sang ( RM 85 per platter) , Jellyfish Yee Sang (RM 105 nett per platter), Tuna Yee Sang (RM 125 nett per platter) and also Salmon Yee Sang ( RM 145 nett per platter)
Next, we enjoyed the soothing tummy warming soup which is the Double Boiled Duck Broth with Sun-Dried Scallops, Cordyceps and tangerine peel. The soup brings you with the soothing and aromatic.
Cherry Wood Smoked Duck Breast with Black Truffle Essence
Moving next is the Smoked Duck Breast with Black Truffle Essence.Enjoy the tender and juicy duck breast which is well smoked with the cherry wood. And it  is topped with the  black truffle. I love how it taste is especially how the cherry wood hint infused in it.
Tiger Prawn in Sun Dried Persimmon Butter Cream
Uniquely prepared, the tiger prawn comes awesomely good where they are fresh and well stir fried with the sun dried persimmon butter cream. It brings you with the creamy flavours but ended with a tangy taste in it.
Steamed Sea Tiger – Dragon Grouper on fresh bean curd stick and Wolfberries in Light Soy Sauce.
Moist flaky texture, the tiger dragon grouper are perfectly steamed on the fresh bean curd stick and Wolfberries in Light Soy Sauce. The fish is perfectly awesome and I am totally in love with it.
Sun Dried Oyster Dumplings, Pacific Clam, Shitake Mushroom with Seasonal Vegetable.
Here comes their huge generous portion of the vegetables where they are packed with goodness. The ingredients are fresh and every mouthful is perfectly good and delicious.
Wok Fried Rice with Preserved Olives, Shrimps and Crispy Sun Dried Scallops
We love how the fried rice is done where the rice comes simply fluffy with the generous portion of ingredients on top. It is simply good and the taste is simply flavourful.
And of course Chinese New Year delights will complete with some sweetness. Enjoy both their signature desserts which is the Pumpkin Puree with Black Sesame Seed and Glutinous Balls as well as the Deep Fried Brown Sugar Cakes layered with the sliced yam and sweet potato paired with the lotus puffs.
And for those who love to go for some buffets they do have hi-tea buffet and dinner for diners to customise their ingredients and toss to prosperity at RM 128 (dinner) and RM 100 ( hi-tea) both nett per person. And a feast at The Eatery won’t be complete without trying their seafood on the ice as well as some of their signature like the pan seared salmon, noodles with abalone, and also ice cream. Kids below 12 years old can dine at 50% off.
