Sands & Sandals @ Desaru : A complete Relaxation

December 11, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

Set on the most beautiful beaches in the east coast of the beautiful Peninsular Malaysia where you cn grab the beautiful panaromic views of the South China Sea and flanked with the tropical rainforest. With the beautiful resort ; one can actually enjoy the uninterrupted white-sands beach, dazzling sunlight and the sparkling seas that will definite embraces the identity in senses.

– The Lobby-
– The Lobby-

Sands and Sandals is beautifully located by the beach at the heart of Desaru which is about 30 minutes ferry ride from Singapore, 45 minutes drive from Johor  Bahru town area, 50 minutes from Senai International Airport and 4 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur. The journey is not too long and during our journey, we can stop by to Negeri Sembilan or even Malacca for some delicacies as well.

– The Family Room –
-Romantic Deluxe with Private Pool-

The rooms here come simply beautiful and comfort. They have 10 types of rooms to cater to your need where they have the Superior,Deluxe Garden View,Deluxe Pool View, Sunny Deluxe Seaview, Premium Deluxe with Private Garden,Romantic Deluxe with Private Pool, Couple Suite (Duplex),Family Suite (Duplex),Executive Suite [Under Renovation]

We stayed in their Premium Deluxe with Private Garden where the rooms are simply comfort and relaxed. My room comes with outdoor bathtub at the private balcony and a mini garden with a swing. The room also includes the essential amenities and separate shower room and toilet. Not just that, they have the private bathtub by the garden with the swing in front. It is such a perfect indulgence there and a perfect relaxation too.

While you are relaxing in the resort, you can also have a great dining experience around the resort where they have 7 restaurants for you to go for. Enjoy a fascinating menu ranging from authentic Thai and Asian cuisine to modern Western delights in a cozy and relaxing ambience.

They have a Chinese restaurant where they brings us with the delicious pork free dim sum and Chinese Delights. Their menu is pretty extensive and filled with flavours as well. Affordable pricing as well.

Not just that, want to grab some Japanese Delights, do hop to their Japanese Restaurant just located just nearby the hotel lobby. They have a variety choices of teppanyaki delights to go for as well as bento set.

If you don’t mind walking, just walk around 5 minutes and they have a Thai Cuisine to serve you as well. Enjoy the pipping hot tomyam, pandan chicken, and many more here.

In Sands and Sandals, is not just spending your time eating and sleeping. They have several of activities that caters to everyone. Enjoy a spa-licious time with your loves one and book some massage and relax yourself in the Senses Spa .

We really enjoyed our spa there from massage, scrub and spa session.  Enjoy ther outdoor spa pavilion contains a bathtub made of love shape, an open air shower made of bamboo, and a secluded zone that refreshes the guest. We really pamper our-self till the fullest here taking our mind off from the busy workloads. Rejuvenate our-self for hours in the spa room is indeed a bliss especially with love ones.

Have sometime with your family or even with your loves one and get some fun in their playroom. Not a normal playroom; but they have more to offer for everyone and is just like back to the younger days where we play in the arcade.

If you love to get some adventures; they have them too from Canoe, Jet Ski, Banna Boat, Viper and more.

You can also discover the Wonders of Desaru there and book some tour them like seeing the fireflies at night, experience some local fruits, visiting some interesting farms as well.

Overall, I could say Sands & Sandals not only cater for lovebirds, but they cater for everyone
