How much do you know about potato? SDS has taken initiative on potato awareness through fun-educational workshop, namely “Jingle Jingle Potato Workshop” which will be organized in two sessions respectively on 25th November 2017, at SDS outlet in AEON Mall Tebrau City, and 9th December 2017, at outlet in AEON Mall Bandar Dato’ Onn.
In collaboration with McCain Foods Inc., potato growers of Washington Potato, the workshop organized by SDS combines learning, DIY hand-made activity, and gastronomic delights. The workshop is specially crafted for families with children. Each family is encouraged to register in a group of four members.
“Potato plays an important role in our life since childhood,” commented Ms. Alice Loh, Marketing Manager of SDS.
“Almost everyone enjoys eating potato dishes such as potato fries, but knows little about choices and benefits of eating potato. Therefore, we came up with the idea of educating our customers the knowledge of potato. This is our first time inviting families to participate in this fun and educational family activity. We hope our customers can enjoy this interesting workshop and benefit from it.”
The workshop will be carried out in two sessions on two Saturdays at SDS outlets on 25th November 2017 at AEON Mall Tebrau City, and 9th December 2017 at AEON Mall Bandar Dato’ Onn. The workshop is expected to be conducted in two hours, beginning at 11am.
“We have proudly invited professional personnel from McCain to enlighten us on the importance of potato. During the workshop, participants are able to use DIY potato stamping to custom-made
Christmas card specially crafted by SDS, and bring home their creation.” Added Ms. Alice.
According to Ms. Alice, Christmas cards designed specially by participants of the workshop will then be printed as SDS Christmas Card. SDS customers are able to collect this limited edition Christmas cards when dining-in or purchasing selected SDS Christmas products.
Apart from learning and playing, scrumptious lunch treats are prepared for each family participating in this workshop. Every family is able to choose one platter from four selections included Mixed Grilled Platter with Rice, Seafood Platter, A-la Chinese Platter, or A-la Malay Platter served with four servings of soup, drinks, and mini mixed fruits. Apart from that, potato platter consisting various fried potato snacks are served for each family.
SDS “Jingle Jingle Potato Workshop” is opened for registration till 23th November 2017 for first session at AEON Mall Tebrau City. Registration for second session at AEON Mall Bandar Dato’ Onn is available till 7th December 2017 respectively. Interested family is encouraged to register at SDS outlets with registration fees of RM98 includes GST for four pax. Limited seats available.
