Yoga With Heart. Uplifting Charity To Give Opportunity To Children In Need

October 30, 2017 By StrawberrY Gal - Hotel, Hotel News Leave a Comment

The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali is proud to announce that this year’s UNICEF Check Out For Children charity initiative is all about wellness. In the spirit of raising awareness about those in need, the resort will host an afternoon of renewing yoga-inspired activities on Saturday, 18th November 2017.

Resident Wellness Specialist, Jitendra Pokhriyal, will join forces with Anjasmara, Indonesia’s leading yoga celebrity to lead a 90-minute class in the darkened ambience of Mangupura Hall. This will involve gentle stretching and controlled breathing exercises to promote physical and spiritual well-being. It promises to be a sensory awakening experience focused on universal consciousness that also incorporates a session of guided meditation.

Hailing from the birthplace of yoga in India, Jintendra is well-versed in many different holistic lifestyle practices. He shares his passion for yoga with Anjasmara, who for many years enjoyed a successful career as a model and popular television actor. Together they will conduct a class for a worthy cause that is extremely dear to many hearts.

The event will commence at 3PM in the resort’s Beachfront Temple Garden with a Wellness Rendezvous. Participants will enjoy afternoon tea along with a selection of SuperFoodsRx in the company of Anjasmara, Jitendra and other likeminded healthy living enthusiasts. Priced at just IDR 350,000 Net per person, this will include a yoga mat and VIP access to the Yoga with Heart session.  For those with limited time looking to just join the yoga session at 4.30PM, a cover charge of IDR 175,000 Net per person will apply. Everyone who partakes will receive a reusable drink bottle and SuperfoodsRx refreshments.

Other highlights on the day will include a mini wellness bazaar with interactive stalls, nutritious snacks and lucky draws. The Westin Yoga Club, made up of Associates from various departments, will be demonstrating movements that help them work better as a team. There will also be a fun social media campaign with a great prize for the follower who gets the most likes using the hashtag #WestinBaliUNICEF2017.

The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali has been continuously supported the UNICEF Check Out For Children charity. All proceeds raised from the Yoga With Heart event will be donated directly to a project that provides clean water and better hygiene for children in developing countries in the region. UNICEF estimates that 1,400 children die each day from diseases caused by dirty water and poor sanitation, the partnership has committed to provide all children, everywhere in Asia Pacific, with access to clean water and basic sanitation.
