Ăn Viet @ Sunway Pyramid : Awesome Vietnamese Cuisine

October 30, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

Ăn Viet is one of my favourite restaurant when I first stepped at their first outlet in The Gardens. After then, it was my usual place whenever I am in The Gardens or even Mid Valley. And recently they had opened another new outlet in Sunway Pyramid.
An Viet’s aim is to get people to “eat” their food and reduce food wastage in response to the shocking amount of the food that goes to the waste, that comes to about 1/3 of the food produced for human consumption globally.
Khai Vi Tong Hop (RM13.90) offers two types of spring rolls where one is fried and another is fresh one. Both are deliciously done and appetising.

Bánh Tráng Trộn (RM 13.90)
Bánh Tráng Trộn (RM 13.90) is indeed one of our favourites. Served in a jar of rice pepper wraps and mango salad. Squeeze the lime juice into the container and pour in the chilli sauce, and shake. Take them out and you got a appetising sweet, sourish blend.
Xoi Chien Phong RM 13.90
One of the most Instagram friendly picture to go. Enjoy the fried crispy glutinous rice puff served with grilled lemongrass chicken salad. The crispy glutinous rice puff brought us with the mild sweetness and crispy exterior. It was well paired with the sourish mango salad and also the flavourful lemon grass chicken.
The Pho Bo Dac Biet
(RM23.90 – ala carte, RM27.90 – set meal)
The broth is a 12-hour long process to extract the flavours from the narrow bones. The soup is not too thick but is a lighter version. There’s beef slices, beef brisket, shank, tripe, tendon and the 100% pure beef ball in each serving. Enjoy them with the fresh basil and also the fresh beansprout.
Lợn Kho Nước Dừa (RM 17.90)
Enjoy the delicious bowl of pork belly which is well braised in coconut juice. It is such a comfort food to go for! The pork belly comes simply good with the tender and juicy meat.  Deliciously good.
Chả Cá Lã Vọng (RM 23.90)
The Hanoi Inspired medley of catfish with turmeric and dill, parsley and spring onions. The dish comes simply good  and delicious and we love the aroma and the flavours of it.
Banh Mi (with grilled pork chop) (RM14.90)
And of course, don’t miss out their awesomelicious  Banh Mi (with grilled pork chop). The Banh Mi comes with the crispy and airy baguette. The meat is juicy and filling too.

In short, An Viet Vietnamese Restaurant serves as a good and delicious Vietnamese deliights. Enjoy the quick lunch,or even dinner  here.
