Swensen’s @ Melawati Mall: Hearty Meals and Signature Ice Cream Delights

October 16, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

Swensen’s is one of the restaurant came to Malaysia over a decade ago and they had won the hearts of many with the delicious ice cream sundaes in warm, unpretentious ambience and  casual atmosphere. The restaurant had developed over they years and it become a food chain offering not only ice cream but fun and friendly, casual dining with a wide selection of hearty desserts, beverages ice cream cakes and take away novelties.
And in Malaysia, Swensen’s had expended to full-service restaurant where they served all day dining  food from mains to the ice cream sundaes, and continues to bring people together for hearty meals and shared memories. And this round, we had the opportunity to try a variety of their signature and best sellers.
Spring Chicken (RM 31.60) was  one of the signature. Pretty huge for small eater, the spring chicken was being deep fried tiill perfection and the skin was crispy and the meat was moist in the inside.
They do serve a  choice of baked rice with the choice of the chicken and fish (RM 21.60) . The baked rice was simply aromatic and filled with the chunks of fish inside as we opt for the fish version. Filled with loads of homemade creamy white sauce and melted mozzarella cheese. Oh no! Sinfully addictive.
Black Pepper Seafood Pasta (RM 27.90) was simply addictive. The pasta drenched with the loads of black pepper sauce and seafood ( fish fillet, mussels and crabstick) with it. Cooked al-dente.
Never say no to ice cream when you are in Swensens.
For us, we had their Earthquake Ice Cream (RM 58.90) where it came with their scopes of signature ice cream with it.  It is such an indulgence where they comes with 8 scoops of ice cream of your choice with 8 toppings. For more information checkout below
