Fook Kee Gourmet Noodle & Rice @ Hup May, Kota Damansara : A hidden jewel!

October 17, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

Are you a big fans of Braised Pork Rice? Yes I am ! And recently I found there is a nice Braissed Pork Rice in Kota Damansara. Fook Kee Gourmet Noodles and Rice  is a labour of love by a foodie , Sidney Kan.

For his passion, he had modernised the Braised Pork Rice and he also served a wide variety of unique dishes. One of a must to have is the Lou Rou Fan (RM 7.00). The braised pork rice was divinely good where they were not those oily based; slightly dry and complete with chunky braised pork on top. Flavourful and savoury. Paired with a bowl of soup. I loved how it was made, not too oily but filling chunks of meat, sides with the peanuts, and the lovely half egg on top.

Taiwan Sausage Bun was another favourites of mine. The crispy bun fragrantly done and topped with the same ingredients of the braised meat. Topped with some chilly padi on top. Beware of the chilly; as it will burst with the spiciness if you accidentally munched it. But I love this so much especially the Taiwan Sausage which was stuffed in the middle. The sausage was tender and juicy; well paired with the meat.
Overall, it was a great meal. And will be back to try more delicious menu created by Fook Kee. Not just good meal but healthy meal as well.
You can now take the MRT and stop at the Surian Station. Short walk from the station itself.
