BANYAN TREE SPA CELEBRATES THIRD YEAR SINCE INDUCTION INTO TRAVEL HALL OF FAME AT 28TH TTG TRAVEL AWARDS 2017

October 18, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

Banyan Tree Spa is proud to celebrate the third year since its induction into the distinguished Travel Trade Gazette (TTG) Travel Hall of Fame at the 28th Annual TTG Travel Awards 2017. The prestigious title was conferred to the well-loved spa brand after it clinched the Best Spa Operator title for 10 consecutive years from year 2005 to 2014.

The Travel Hall of Fame represents the highest honour bestowed on exceptional organisations which have achieved the impressive feat of being the unsurpassed leader in its field for one decade. It was inaugurated in 2002, with the objective of establishing a permanent home for the elite ranks in the travel trade.

Reputed as Asia Pacific’s most influential and coveted travel industry awards, the highly anticipated             TTG Travel Awards held on 28 September 2017 at Centara Grand at CentralWorld in Bangkok, Thailand, honours the finest luminaries of the travel industry and serves as a benchmark for highest industry standards. TTG Travel Awards is a TTG Travel Trade Publishing event proudly organised by TTG Asia, with the support of TTG China, TTG India, TTGmice, TTG-BTmice China, TTGassociations and TTG Asia Luxury.

“We are honoured to celebrate our third year as an inductee into Travel Hall of Fame. This recognition is made possible through the support and trust from our valued guests. Consumer habits may have evolved rapidly, but one thing remains constant – the human need for inner peace and balance. Through the years, we never deviate from our vision as we constantly refine our spa experiences to create a Sanctuary for the Senses with the wellness of our guests as key priority. We remain true to our Asian roots and strive to deliver the intuitive art of touch, which has become synonymous with Banyan Tree Spa.” says Ms Kingkarn Olarngarnjanin, Executive Director of Banyan Tree Spa & Gallery.

Sanctuary for the Senses
When Banyan Tree Spa first opened in Phuket, Thailand in 1994, it pioneered the tropical garden spa concept with its Asian therapies and holistic focus on spiritual, mental and physical harmony. As one of the pioneer Oriental spas in Asia, it reintroduced an exotic blend of ancient health and beauty practices which have been passed down from generation to generation. It emphasises a ‘high-touch, low-tech’ approach that celebrates the human touch and the use of natural herbs and spices.
