Sunway to Open the Largest Hotel in Cheras

Another new hotel open by the Sunway Group this week. And finally, Sunway Velocity Hotel will progressively open their doors on 20 September 2017. Sunway Velocity Hotel is having 351 rooms where the mid- market hotel will be the only transit-oriented, and the largest and only integrated hotel within the Cheras vicinity.

The hotel with the gross development cost (GDC) of RM 16 million is a 59:41 joint venture project  between Sunway Berhad and Fawancis Sdn Bhd. Located in the heart of a vibrant transit -oriented development, the RM 4 billion, 23 acre integrated Sunway Velocity Kuala Lumpur, which mirrors of success of the thriving Sunway City.

In here, you can see the final synergistic additions to the premier shopping, dining experiences and entertainment of the Sunway Velocity Mall, the office towers, serviced residences and a sprawling two – acre Central Park which is within the development besides the upcoming medical centre slated to be open in 2019.

And for the hotel, they are 16 storey project which took 25 months to complete. On 20 September 2017, the hotel will open with 121 rooms remaining being made 230 rooms being made progressively , with full inventory by 30 October 2017. In December 2017,  the express cafe and the boardroom on Level 5 will be open to guests.

Sunway Velocity Hotel features 351 guestrooms with a choice of three categories namely Superior, Superior Plus and Superior Premier Rooms.  The Superior Room, measuring 25 square metres in size, is the Hotel’s lead-in room category with a total of 266 rooms.

Complementing its exterior, each room features bold geometric patterns and accented by hues of green, yellow and dash of gold and equipped with the essential conveniences for an effortless stay.
With a total of 67 rooms the Superior Plus Room measures 27 square metres and is designed in an authentic casual style for guests who are seeking additional space. The room sleeps up to three adults with an extra single bed (upon request) . The 38 square metre Superior Room is a spacious corner room that features a loft-like arrangement, offering an additional set that pulls-out to ta queen-sized sofa bed, accommodating up to two adults and two children or three adults in the room. There is a total 18 rooms in this category.

Whats more is they have great and comfortable features and amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi , LED Smart TV, electronic safe, mini fridge, coffee and tea making facilities.

Each guestroom features a complimentary “Snack-Tray” containing instant cup noodles, biscuits, and soft drinks, to satisfy late  night or early- morning huger pangs, replenished daily.

And whats the best thing is Sunway Velocity Hotel is offering special introductory room rates, starting from RM 198.00++ per room per night; valid for stays from 20 September 2016. Room rates are quoted in Rabbit Malaysia (RM ) and subject to 10% service charge and prevailing Good and Service Tax (GST) . In addition, the Hotel will also be offering guests 4X Sunway PALS points and free city wide shuttle services ( with stops at KLCC/ Bukit Bintang Shopping district and Sunway Putra Mall) .
