Whip Up @ Pudu : A hidden Jewel for Desserts

July 31, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

This is a place for desserts lover and you will definitely fall in love with it and want to come back for more. Located in Pudu, the little café opened a few months back, Chef Tee is indeed a place to visit especially for those who has sweet tooth.
Whip-up the brainchild of Chef Tee who loves making his own desserts and crafting his own menu in his kitchen with just a simple mission, which is to make the world a sweeter place. With his passion and experiences working in different pastry shops, restaurants, and hotels, he had gain a very wide knowledge and he applies to his bakery here.
A for Apple (RM 18)
With the back-to-kindergarten concepts and a name that is easy to remember, it quickly captures my attention when it is being served. Looks like a fresh apple, the dessert are indeed beautifully plated. Enjoy the mousy, apple-shaped cake that is stuffed with apple compote and caramelised walnuts, finished in green glace. Also to complete with stem and leaf, which is freshly-plucked from their kitchen.
Do you want to build a tiramisu? (RM 19)
You can also experiment yourself with the tray kit equipped with mascarpone cheese, ladyfingers, with a cup of Kahlua and a choice of your preferable crunchy toppings. Choose either the caramelised almonds or chocolate curls. Addictively yummylicious and I love how it is done; to be honest I don’t mind having another serving.

Layers of Love (RM 23)
We love the way Chef Tee made the pancake with a twist of Malaysian flavours; the pancake is perfectly done with the sides of homemade kaya and mango cubes. What makes it more enjoyable is that it is topped with the delightful coconut ice cream on top.
The bottle for Peace-Tachio (RM 18)
Lovely desserts to go for and don’t be fooled by the glossy glace. The dessert comes with the attractive presentation where it has the glossy glace, raspberry drizzle and nut tuile. Grab your spoon and battle through the layer of chocolate sponge, mousse and raspberry coulis, you will finally find the jewel here which is the creamy pistachio heart.
Not a sweet tooth? No worries. You can now enjoy the delicious nasi lemak made in house.

Madam Ng’s special Nasi Lemak & Coffee/Tea (RM 25)
Prepared fresh from the kitchen, enjoy the homemade sweet and spicy ikan bilis sambal, paired with the aromatic fluffy rice, cooked in pandan juice. Nicely prepared and I love the taste of the rice fragrance and the thick curry. Nicely prepared with the touch of love.
If you are a dessert lover, go for their desserts and I find them simply impressive. Awesome desserts with a reasonable price.
