New Opening: Kenny’s Food Cart @ Aman Suria

June 13, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

For years, food lovers and connoisseurs have been flocking to Kenny’s Seafood Porridge food stall located in the alley of Alisan Street of suburban Petaling Jaya for a fulfilling bowl of porridge. Started off in 1993, Kenny Lock’s father was the mastermind behind the favourite “Teng Chai Chuk” (Boat Porridge) after a stint working as a chef in a Hong Kong cuisine restaurant in London.

Since Kenny’s helm at the food stall more than 10 years ago, business has been brisk and he has since introduced many dishes that are now synonymous with his food stall. A young man with a vision, together with two other enterprising partners, Kenny has finally realised his dream of taking his humble food stall to a brick and mortar location – Kenny’s Food Cart.

Opening on 20th June, Kenny’s Food Cart’s “Teng Chai Chuk” and porridge are still stars of the show, together with other delectable dishes such as homemade fish paste either deep-fried or boiled and signature Mushroom Chicken amongst others.

Kenny’s Food Cart will also be introducing several new dishes from the archives of Cantonese cuisine with Kenny’s secret recipe for Stewed Soy Chicken – chicken drumstick braised to perfection and mouth-watering Slow-braised Pork served on a fluffy bed of rice or wantan noodles. Prices start from RM7 per dish.

If you are looking for comfort food and reminiscing home cooked meals, head on over to Kenny’s Food Cart located at K-G-11, Jalan PJU 1/43, Aman Suria Damansara, 47301 Petaling Jaya or call Kenny (016 375 5304) / Ivan (012 329 8227).
