Nissin Cup Noodles : More Ingredients NOW

May 22, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

Everyone loves and enjoys the occasional cup noodle as a quick bite or as a snack at home or as a convenient go-to-meal. Nissin Cup Noodles is one of the more well-known brand of cup noodles in the market – developed under the “Instant” philosophy where the garnishing ingredients, seasoning powder and noodles are all in one packaged in one convenient cup and the simplest way of preparation of simply opening the lid, pouring in hot water and it’s ready for consumption.
If this is getting you excited and salivating already for cup noodles, then you will surely be delighted to know of Nissin’s upgraded range of “More Ingredients” Cup Noodles.

Nissin Cup Noodles is the best-selling cup noodles in Japan, and also in Singapore. With its signature springy noodles and rich taste, it is a clear winner among other cup noodle brands in the market. The first ever Cup Noodles was first developed in Japan in 1971 by Momofuku Ando, the founder of Nissin Cup Noodles. Now, Nissin Cup Noodles is sold in 80 countries and with a total sales of 40 billion packages since its launch. Nissin Cup Noodles in Singapore are available in 10 flavours and some of the leading flavours include Tom Yam Seafood, Chilli Crab and Seafood.

With these 10 types of exciting and delicious flavours, there is definitely a favourite for everyone and every age group – chicken, chili crab, black pepper crab, seafood, tom yam seafood, spicy seafood, mushroom chicken, cream of chicken, Kyushu white and even our Malaysian favourite, Laksa.  The cup noodles are well packed and sealed.

Among the 10 flavours, let me share with you about my 3 favourite flavours.

One of the noodle flavours that I love is the mushroom chicken flavour. The cup noodles is well sealed and I am impressed upon opening the lid with the amount of ingredients in it. The ingredients are plentiful compared to many other brand of cup noodles I had previously. What is so different in terms of the noodles is the portion, which is slightly more than the standard cup noodle portion. The noodles are springy and texture is good. The soup is flavourful too with loads of ingredients in it adding to the deliciousness.

The other flavour that that I love is the Tomyam Seafood flavour. This is definitely a favourite amongst other people that I know too. The Tomyam Seafood noodles are packed with dehydrated ingredients which include shrimps, dried lemongrass and kaffir leaves. It comes with a hot and sour blend with a pleasant seafood taste. Not just that, it also has the right amount of spiciness to it.

Finally, for something a little different, the Kyushu White flavour brings a different twist to the usual cup noodles you can find in the market. The Kyushu White flavour is a take on the popular Japanese ramen style noodles and soup and it is definitely a must try for those who love Japanese ramen. The flavour presents a good combination of a chicken-based and slightly creamy soup and aroma. It also comes with a packet of sesame seasoning which further enhances the Japanese ramen flavour.
