Hi Tea from RM 38 @ Betjetman & Barton, 1 Utama

April 20, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

Open back a few year, Betjeman & Barton brings you with their new hi-tea menu.  The afternoon tea here brings you with the combination of various sweet and savouries served  with a pot of tea of your choice.
Starts from the selections of finger sandwiches where they have chicken ham and cheese, egg and mayonnaise as well as cucumber and cheese.
As for the assorted pasteries, we enjoyed every item being served here which includes the layered chicken and egg puff with spring onions, baked cranberry and blueberry sauce, café au liat choux, baked yogurt cheesecake as well as Rose and Raspberry Madeline. For me, I am impressed with the baked yogurt cheesecake which simply bringing me a melts in the mouth sensation. This is just too addictive.
And of course, for the sweet version, enjoy the Betjetman & Borton Signature White Chocolate, Seasonal Macarons as well as the Earl Grey Mousse with the Chocolate Mirror Glaze. The macarons are our favourites for sure as we usually come back for this as their version is not too sweet and give you a melts in the mouth sensation.
Together with your pasteries, they serve you with 3 choices of tea from traditional tea, premium tea to superior tea to choose from.
With RM 38 per pax ; you can choose one of the traditional tea where they have the choice of Black Tea ( Assam Kellung , Breakfast, Earl Grey), Green Tea ( Japan Natural Sencha, Vert Ma Les Herbes, Very Pouchkine) , Red Tea ( RooiBush, RooiBush Jardin Rogue) and also Herbal Tea ( Fleurs D;Oranger, Tisane Du Berger, Verveine)
If you are looking for a better ones, choose their Premium Tea where they  are priced at RM 48 per pax. Enjoy the premium black tea selection (Darjeeling Margerat’s Hope, Chai, Des Amours, EarlGrey Flowery, Eden House), Green Tea ( Japon Genmaicha, Les Invites Lundi Light, Vert Menthe) , Red Tea ( Rooibush Acerola Cranberry) , White Tea ( Chine White Pearl) and Herbal Tea ( Banquet De Manon, Primeir Camomille)
As for the Superior grade loose tea, they are priced at RM 58per person. Choose your Black Tea (Chinese Pu Er, Earl Grey Decaffeinated, Finest Earl Grey) , Green Tea ( Earl Grey Primeur, Japon Gyokuro), White Tea ( Earl Grey Blanc) or Ooling Tea (Wulong Milky). Every thing here comes simply perfect and good.
Why not sit down and enjoy a good afternoon tea after the whole day of tiring shopping in 1 Utama. It is time to pamper yourself.
They also have a beautiful tea set for sale and tea leaves too if you would love to buy back for your home consumption.
