With the wide selection of eateries in The Market, Isetan  The Japan Store ; one can savour the variety of food selection from here. One of my latest visit and craving is the Dashi Dining Saya where one can have a good meal of Japanese Delights with affordable price. Dashi Dining Saya is one of the affordable kiosk which serve large bento sets and also homecook Japanese delights here.

What is Dashi ?

Dashi (出汁, だし) is a class of soup and cooking stock used in Japanese cuisine where it is used as the base for miso soup, clear broth, noodle broth, and many kinds of simmering liquid. And Dashi is made from dried kombu and katsuobushi.

Rice with Hot Dashi Soup Grilled Salmon Flake (RM 27)

Starts your meal with rice with the delicious bowl of rice with the hot dashi soup and grilled salmon flake. You can add them with additional salmon roe with just RM 4. Diners can also decide on the amount of rice they prefer – small (200g), medium (250g + RM2) or large (300g + RM3) with free refill of Saya’s special dashi soup.  In SAYA, you can enjoy this awesomelicious delights where the rice comes moist and topped with the grilled salmon flakes. You can have them as it is or add them with the hot soup with it. Have either one of these way as you like and you will definite love the taste.

For those who love to have a good huge meal, try their bento set where it comes with 6 choices in it. You can enjoy the Fried   Chicken “ Saya Style” , Tofu and Kinoko Mushroom with Dashi Sauce, Japanese Traditional Chizuzenni, Tomato with “Dashi” Ginger, Hokkaido Beef Croquette and Grilled Mackerel with Eryngi Mushroom “Saya Style. Sides with ice and miso soup.  The ingredients are fresh and every mouthful of the dish is just perfect and homey.

You can add a bowl of lovely chawanmushi to make a perfect meal. Have the hot bowl of steamed egg together with the dashi soup in “Saya Style”

Not just that, Dashi Dining Delica corner, they also offers takeaway for homecooked Japanese delights. Enjoy the variety choices of takeaway from the Tomato with Apple Juice, Japanese Egg Omelette, Fried Fish Sausage and many more. They also have Onigiri as well in their selectio.
