CHRISTMAS EVE BUFFET DINNER AND CHRISTMAS DAY BUFFET LUNCH AT ARTHUR’S BAR & GRILL, SHANGRI-LA HOTEL, KUALA LUMPUR

xArthur’s Bar & Grill at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur will celebrate Christmas Eve with a Buffet Dinner, and Christmas Day with a Buffet Lunch.

The Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner, priced at RM288 nett per person, is a showcase of western, Japanese and local dishes. The dinner is from 7:00pm to 10:30pm.

Different food stations, ranging from Fresh Seafood and Live Oyster Stations to Gourmet Asian and Western Salads, Charcuterie, Carvery, Soup and Hot Dishes and the Dessert Station serve a wide variety of food to guests.

Baby lobsters, Alaska King Crab and scallops, Fine de Claire and US oysters and Atlantic salmon in different forms are the starters. Yellow Fin Tuna Tataki, Teppan Hokkaido Scallops on wild mushroom, Yuzu Vinaigrette, Smoked Lamb Loin, Kenya beans with golden raisin chutney, and Thai Marinated Slice Abalones with Mango Salad are some of the gourmet salads.

Charcuterie items include Foie Gras Terrine, chicken liver parfait, smoked duck and beef salami.

At the Carving Station is the traditional roast turkey with chestnut and apple stuffing, and Australian Grain-fed Black Angus Prime Rib.

Also, don’t forget to have a taste of Soto Turkey, Rock Lobster Thermidor, Wok Fried King Prawns with Thai Basil in Taro Ring, Mini Glutinous Rice Wraps with chestnut, turkey and black mushrooms, and Sirloin Steak Bulgogi with grilled leek.

Christmas Gingerbread, chocolates, Black Forest Yule Log, pudding and cakes, hot desserts and ice cream are the sweet ending to the buffet dinner.

The Christmas Day Buffet Lunch is priced at RM235 nett per person and is served from 12 noon to 3pm.

It begins with a choice of fresh seafood and oysters, gourmet Asian and western salads such as Beetroot and Walnut Salad with Blue Cheese, Chilled Crab Salad as well as Miso Cured Atlantic Salmon. Then there are the charcuterie items and sushi, a variety of breads and cheeses, along with other types of sushi.

At the Carving Station is Maple and Thyme Roasted Turkey with chestnut and apple stuffing and Australian Grain-fed Black Angus Prime Rib.

Stir-fried Lobster with dried chillies and basil, Spice Grilled Duck Breast, Rosemary Roast Lamb with garlic confit, and Barbecue Prawn Percik are among the hot dishes too.

Christmas goodies and other desserts like Morello Fantastic Cheese Cake, Raspberry Cream Puffs, Clementine Bread and Butter Pudding will be at the Dessert Station.
