Sumptuous Crab Feast at Café on M

October 14, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Autumn is a prime time to savour crabs! Indulge in a sumptuous dinner buffet feast overflowing with up to ten diverse varieties of crabs at Café on M. In addition to the lavish buffet delicacies, each dinner buffet guest will entitle a complimentary steamed hairy crab. Do not miss the weight guessing contest on Fridays and Saturdays to win a whole Alaskan King Crab with the closest guess of its weight.

The talented culinary team has selected ten varieties of the most sought-after seasonal crabs, namely Snow Crab, Brown Crab, Swimming Crab, Green Crab, Blue Crab, Hairy Crab, Soft Shell Crab, Mud Crab, Red King Crab and Three-Spotted Crab, transforming Café on M into a crab lover paradise nightly with six to seven species among these crabs on rotational basis. A complimentary steamed hairy crab originated from the renowned Lake Taihu, famed for its richness and decadent roe, is offered for each diner.

A string of irresistible crab specialties ranging from appetizer to soup and hot dishes are unlimitedly served. Sautéed crab with Thai curry; Sautéed green crab with ginger and spring; and Typhoon shelter fried crab showcases the unique flavours of crabs with the use of different herbs and seasonings. Japanese-style deep fried soft shell crab is perfectly crispy with a moist, delicate flesh. The mouth-watering Swimming crab congee and Fried rice with crab meat and egg white are the best
for the taste buds to appreciate the natural sweetness of the crabs.

Alaskan King Crab weight guessing contest on Friday and Saturday nights is another highlight. The closest guess will be awarded with the whole jet-fresh Alaskan King Crab to add lights to the extraordinary crab feast.

The dinner buffet also features a host of tantalising delicacies including freshly-shucked oysters, assorted Japanese sashimi, oven-roasted suckling pig. The much-loved Mövenpick ice cream and an enticing array of desserts will end the dinner buffet with a perfect and sweet note.

Available from 15 Oct until 30 Nov 2016.
For enquiries or reservations, please call Café on M at (852) 2731 2860.
