Kokoro Japanese Restaurant: “Kansai Version Ramen” is available here!

October 5, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Kokoro is indeed one of the restaurant I love to visit whenever I am in Cheras. Bringing you with the taste of Japan, they currently had released ramen to their menu. With the concept of Kansai ramen, now you can get the delicious ramen here in Kokoro Japanese Restaurant.

Miso Tonkatsu Ramen (RM 19)

The miso tankatsu ramen is indeed irresistible. The broth comes not too thick but it is infused with loads of flavours in it. The hint of the Japanese miso can be tasted in the noodles and every mouthful of the soup is rich in taste. The broth is bone up with four ingredients which is the tonkatsu, miso, shio and shoyu plus it is said to be one of lightest broth of all. As for the char siew it is tender and juicy with the complete flavours in it. Not just that, noodles comes pretty good as well where the texture of the noodles comes springy.

Shoyu Tonkatsu Ramen (RM 19)

If you love to get a more flavourful noodles, why not try the shoyu based soup which is a popular ramen seasoning in the Kanto region of central Japan. Paired with pork, and the soup come thicker and more flavourful compare to Miso.

Tonkatsu Ramen (RM 19)

Tonkatsu Ramen is one of the ramen that no needs any introduction. The broth comes thick and creamy where it comes from the pork narrow bones which is been simmered for hours. The soup based comes pretty creamy and more flavourful compare to many other ramens. And this is recomended to those who love to have thick, creamy soup base.

Hiyashi Ramen (RM 15.90)

For those who love to grab a healthier ramen, enjoy the Hiyashi Ramen which comes with chilled ramen noodles. Topped with the various colourful cold ingredients on top and tare sauce. For me, I am not too into this noodles but taste comes pretty refreshing though.

Hiroshima Tsukemen (RM 22)

One of Hiroshima’s original dishes is Hiroshima tsukemen and here the noodles and broth served in different bowls. This is where the boiled noodles are cooled with iced water and sides with the hot sauce spiced up with red pepper.  It is served together with the sliced roast pork, egg and also some green onions, and boiled vegetable. I am pretty impressed and we love the kick spiciness of the noodles.

Gyumuyo Matcha Latte Parfait (RM11.90)

Hojicha Latte Parfait (RM11.90)

And with this, there is no more reason for you to SAY NO! to visit Kokoro Japanese Restaurant now! They are serving wide choices of Japanese delights.
