La Risata @ Ampang : Italian Cuisine with Great Ambience

September 13, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

La Risata, a beautiful casual Italian dining restaurant that brings us “fun and laughter”. The restaurant located in both neighbourhood in Klang Valley where one in Ampang and another in Medan Damansara head not disappoint us with their best Italian food.

Opening back in 1996, with nearly 2 decades, they are well known with their authentic Italian dishes ranging from their traditional wood-fired oven thin & crispy pizzas to pastas, meat and seafood dishes that exude the very essence of Italian dining – rustic, hearty and good.

Gnocchi Ai Gamberi (RM 23)

Started off with the little potato dumplings and prawn is well sautéed in herb butter. The lovely delights comes with the impressive cute mini potato balls which is amazingly good. Comes with chewy, fluffy and flavourful blend of taste with the crispy skin. Awesomely good!

Pizza Funghi e Prosciutto (RM26)

Pizza is a must when you are in an Italian restaurant? The delicious pizza with thin crust completes with the turkey ham, mushroom, tomato and mozzarella. I love how it is done where the pizza comes simply in thin crust and topped with the awesome-licious ingredients with it.

Pizza D’Anatara (RM 36)

For those who are a big fans of smoked duck, you should go for this. The pizza is complete with luxurious ingredients such as the smoked Duck, Rocket Salad, Anchovy, Caramelized Onions and Mozarella Cheese. Love how the smoked duck is done and it brings you with the tender juicy bites and it compliments well with the anchovy and caramelised onion that brings you a crispy bites. Awesome!

Agnello Alla Griglia (RM 58)

Enjoy the hearty plate of the grilled chilled Australian lamb tenderloin sides with fennel and black pepper crust served with the mashed chickpea and vegetable caponata finished with a red wine reduction. The meat is simply tender and juicy making every mouthful is divinely delicious.

Spaghetti Con Arragosta (RM 40)

Cooked al-dente, the spaghetti is being tossed with baby lobster garlic, tomato, chili and olive oil. Flavourful and perfect! Love this so much!

Tortellini D’Antara E Porcini (RM 36)

Love how this handmade tortellini is made where it is well stuffed with porcini, button mushroom, smoked duck, mascarpone, and parmesan cheese with a fresh sage butter and truffle oil.  The juicy bites with the creamy texture is sinfully good and addictive.

Chocolate Bombe (RM 38)

Of course ends your meal with the Instagram-friendly desserts which is the Chocolate Bombe. The delicious chocolate bombe completes with dark and & white chocolate semifredo with wild berries hidden in it.  Each mouthful is sinfully good.

Cannoli (RM 16)

Uniquely delicious  where the sicilian fried pastry shell filled with a sweet ricotta cream dipped in chocolate & pistachio bits. Love how it is done and every mouthful is so good!

Zucutto (RM 18)

The delicious liquer dome cake which is filled with the chocolate and vanilla cream with almond, hazelnut and chocolate bits. The cakes comes fluffy, and yet heavenly. Love the hint of the liquer in the cake.
