Sushi + Rotary Sushi Bar @ Puchong: The 1st “Air-Conditioned” Sushi Conveyer Belt

July 14, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Sushi + Rotary Sushi Bar at Puchong Jaya bringing you with the very first “air conditioned” covered conveyor belt Japanese sushi in Klang Valley. Located just next to Moonlight Cafe & Bakery Shop or above Old Town White Coffee, the restaurant is easily spotted. Walk up the stairs at the corner of Old Town between the Moonlight Cafe and also the Old Town White Coffee, you will find the hidden restaurant upstairs

There is loads of people ask why they are using  “air-conditioned”, covered conveyor belt? This is actually allowing diners to enjoy more hygienic and fresher sushi. And once we step in to the restaurant, we are amazed with their long sushi convenyer belt where you can see the sushi rounding inside the slow tube. It is amazingly attractive and not just that, it brings you with hygienic food too. And according to the owner, the conveyor belt is installed with special cooling system which can keep sushi from air dust, and stay fresh in chilled air and this indeed confirmed that they are bringing you quality food.

In here, they have over 30 types of sushi to go for and avaialble in the convenyer belt. Some items are pretty unique too and only available limited time. And not just that, the price comes simply affordable where their price are range between RM 2.30 to RM 10.00 per plate. The kaiten-zushi comes with 5 price tag where   RM2.30 for green, RM4.30 yellow, RM6.30 blue, RM8.30 red and RM10 black.  And the price is pretty affordable.

Tempura Moriawase RM13
The tempura moriawase comes with generous portion, crispy good with the complete juiciness in it. Nicely deep fried till golden brown. Love the crispy prawns in it.

Hana Moriawase RM39
The affordable platter of sashimi comes with 5 types of sashimi where they have – Salmon, Tuna, Butterfish, Octopus & Surf Clam over a bed of ice. The sashimi comes fresh and good with the huge generous cutting.

Salmon Aburi Ura Maki RM20
Enjoy their signature premium maki where either you love to have traditional maki or even with the fusion maki. I am impressed with the Salmon Aburi Maki where every bites of the maki brings you with the enticing presentation and taste.

Unagi Aburi Cheese Maki RM23
As for the Cheese Maki, it comes more to the creamier bites instead. Simply good and tantalising ! The cheese is being burned a little with the light creamy butes while inside remains crispy from the cucumber and moist juicy taste from the unagi

Ika Gesa Karaage ( RM7)

Ika Surumi Yaki

Love squid? Enjoy them either deep fried or grilled. I love the Ika Surumi Yaki where it brings you with the chewy and well laced with the teriyaki sauce with the hint of light sweetness. It is simply addictive.

Sashimi Moriawase & Unagi Kabayaki Zen RM42

And in Sushi + Rotary Sushi, they not bring you with just sushi but they have a wide selection of main. Either you are looking at sushis or even looking for set meal, they have them all here.  One of their popular orders, you can enjoy your set meal with the Japanese rice, unagi kabayaki, assorted sashimi, Japanese pickle, salad, miso soup, chawanmushi and  fresh cut fruits. A good huge portion to filled up your hungry tummy. I love the sweet bites of unagi

Salmon Kama Miso Nabe RM23

Garlic Fried Rice RM6
