MANDARIN ORIENTAL, PARIS OFFERS PARIS BY MARX

 Mandarin Oriental, Paris is offering guests an opportunity to explore the favourite Parisian haunts of the hotel’s Michelin-starred chef, Thierry Marx. Guests booking the Paris by Marx package will be invited to visit some of the twelve artisans and specialist retailers recommended by Executive Chef, Thierry Marx, while strolling through the city’s streets. With luxurious accommodation at the hotel also included, the package is available from 1 June 2016.

A native Parisian, Thierry Marx’s recommendations include French and Japanese delicatessens, a chocolate maker and sculptor, award-winning charcutier, teahouse, historical kitchen utensils shop, bakery, and an art gallery in St-Germain-des-Prés, as well as a typical ‘bouquiniste of Paris’ specializing in antiquarian gastronomy books. Completing the must-see list is a market, Parisian coffee roaster and vinyl records shop. Guests will receive a VIP welcome in each establishment, back of the shop access and opportunities to taste the products.

As a grand finale to this Parisian adventure, guests will be treated to a special gourmet dinner at two Michelin-star restaurant Sur Mesure par Thierry Marx.

The Paris by Marx package includes:
·         Luxurious accommodation for minimum one night stay at Mandarin Oriental, Paris
·         Daily breakfast at Camélia or in-room
·         A nine-course dinner at Sur Mesure par Thierry Marx (beverage not included)
·         VIP welcome in the twelve outlets selected by Thierry Marx

Package is available from 1 June 2016 subject to availability, and priced from EUR 1,350 per night, based on two people sharing.
