NEW MENU @ HANA DINING & SAKE BAR

June 7, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Revamping their new menu with an addition of new dishes, one must not missed the good Japanese Food here in Sunway Pyramid. With the great ambience, good quality of food; I can say Hana Japanese Dining & Sake Bar did not disappoint me before.

Highlighting on their new dishes this time around, they have the Happy Hour Bites Promotion which includes by one free one deal for diners to enjoy. We start off with their Hana’s Tapas Combo where they are served at affordable price starting from RM 35 (for 2 pax) and RM 50 (3pax) for their Classic Tapas Combo; and RM 70 (for 2 pax) and RM 100 (for 3 pax) for their Luxury Tapas Combo. Both combos allowed selections of up to 3 assortment from the Classic and Luxury Tapas ala carte menu respectively.

For the Classic Tapas Combo, the selection platter here is the Kaisen Shiso Kushi, Gindara Miso Yaki, and the Soft Shell Crab. I love their Gindara Miso Yaki which is amazingly good with the juicy flaky meat. The Soft Shell Crabs is also one of the must to have here where they comes simply crunchy as well.

Moving to the luxury combo; they give you with a different menu where our luxury combo complees with the Tenshi Ebi which brings us the robust flavours where it has the combination of  Daikon Foie Gras, and the Hotate Uni Toryufu. Enjoy the pluppy scallops together with the sea urchin and truffle paste on top of the crispy sheet of seaweed.

Tori Yasai Mushiyaki (RM 15)
Enjoy the  Tori Yasai Mushiyaki which is one of the new items in Hana . The steamed grilled chicken with the vegetable tatar dressing is amazingly good. Beautifully plated with a fresh ohba leaf.

Kani Sashimi Salad (RM 28)
I love the healthy meals here and this is incredibly good. The plate of sashimi with the Kaori Bako. This crab meat salad together with the sashimi comes simply good and delicious with the fresh sashimi inside. Awesome

Hokkaido Cawanmushi (RM 15)
Don’t miss their Hokkaido Cawanmushi where the dish is perfectly good and definitely family favorites. Topped with plentiful of ikura on top as well as some crab meat on it; the dish is simply double thumbs up and delicious.

Aburi Anago Maki (RM 60)
There are more to go here where the Aburi Anago Maki is indeed one of the must try here. Served with the plump and fresh slices of sea conger eel on each cut of the maki roll, the roll was amazingly good where it is well roll together with the avocado, and mince crab together with the cuts of salmon belly

Tempura Mango Cheese Maki (RM 40)
Those who are loving those tangy savoury maki, enjoy the lovely tempura maki  where the tempura maki is served with the crispy pluppy tempura prawn  with the sweet aroma of mango together with the creaminess from the cheese slice.

Aside from that, enjoy the Kushiyaki Moriawase where you can enjoy 6 skewers at RM 35. The have sukune, Negima, Sasami Ume-shiso, Gyutan, Shitake, Okra. Each is well barbecued till perfection and it is simply addictive.

Matcha Ice Cream (RM 7)
Ends your meal with their desserts. Either a scoop of sesame ice cream or their poplar matcha flavour.

With almost 180 dishes even after revamping, you will assured that you will enjoy something from Chef Thomas. Not just that, they have Omakase set do and you can leave your meals for the chef to decide what to cook for you.
