ROSEDALE HOTELS LAUNCHED FREE “HANDY” SMARTPHONE SERVICES FOR IN-HOUSE GUESTS

Rosedale Hotel Hong Kong and Rosedale Hotel Kowloon have lately introduced the FREE “handy” smartphone services. With the services, in-house guests of the Hotels will be entitled to, in and outside the hotel, the use of unlimited mobile Internet access, free local & IDD calls, an informative digital City Guide and latest offers of the Hotels. Relish travel and stay at another level!

A smartphone named “handy”, which in-house guests can bring with them outside the Hotels during their stay, can be found in each guest room and suite. Hotel in-house guests will have unlimited 3G Internet access and can share updates of their trip on social media anytime, make unlimited local and IDD calls to specified regions, including Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia and USA at Rosedale Hotel Kowloon, and Mainland China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Japan and Canada at Rosedale Hotel Hong Kong, staying connected with their relatives, friends and clients while abroad.

Besides, in-house guests can have easy access to information on lifestyle, delicacies, entertainment, business, transportation, weather, shopping and so on with the digital City Guide in the smartphone. Staying up-to-date with travel news and special offers of Rosedale Hotels is just at your fingertips.

Rosedale Hotels attach great importance to the privacy and security of personal information of guests. No personal information or usage record will be kept in “handy”. “Rosedale Hotels make ready worry-free Internet and smartphone services for hotel guests,” explained Mr. Louis Cheng, Area General Manager, Hotels. “Hotel guests can delete usage record by themselves. However, when a guest has checked out, our Hotel staff will still ensure all browser and phone records are permanently deleted. A new IP address will also be set for the smartphone”.
