SPRING IN TO THE FÊTE OF EASTERTIDE AT INTERCONTINENTAL® KUALA LUMPUR

March 11, 2016 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Promotion Leave a Comment

Delight in an egg-cellent celebration of Easter as InterContinental® Kuala Lumpur hotel’s all-day dining restaurant Serena Brasserie revels in the fête of Easter Brunch Buffet, available on 27 March 2016, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at RM 198 nett per adult and RM 99 per child (6 – 12 years old) inclusive of soft drinks and chilled juices. Heighten the Eastertide experience and upgrade the drink package with free flowing red, white, and sparkling wine, at RM 150 nett per adult.

Enjoy the emboldening family affair, with scrumptious delights for the adult and the little ones, in addition to a majestic palace entrance patterned by vibrant balloon archs – perfect for memorable family photography opportunities!

The lavish brunch buffet dining at Serena Brasserie comes with numerous palate pleasers, inclusive of fresh air-flown seafood on ice, showcasing a range of sea treasures including succulent oysters, spanner crab, pacific prawns, alongside cold selection of crisp appetizer and salad with the delights of angus beef carpaccio, salmon flake with baby spinach orange emulsion, as well as oven baked eggplant and zucchini with pesto, herbs, and cheese crostini.

The exceptional experience enriches, with a live cooking station unveiling Chef De Cuisine Suhalmi Tasir’s highlight of sweet potato gnocchi in grana padano and thyme apricot rabbit stew. Embracing the Grana Padano cuisine with a twist, Chef Suhalmi specially concocts a distinctive zest by pairing the fare with thyme apricot rabbit stew, providing diners with a sweet and savoury relish, as opposed to the usual pairing of Grana Padano with the pasta bolognese.

A whole range of decadent homemade desserts by acclaimed pastry chef, Chan Eng Hua awaits to appease, with the luscious festive specials of bunny lollipops, Maracaibo crème brulee, next to sinful selections of warm desserts of mix berries crumble in vanilla sauce, and crepes with mix berries compote.

Especially for the delight of the little ones, the Easter brunch includes a special appearance by a celebrated children’s character, with the dedicated children’s cinema decorated in dreamy ambiences. Little princes and princesses will be occupied with a spread of children’s menu featuring all-time favourites of macaroni and cheese with chicken slice, simple bites of chicken and cheese croissant, tortilla rolls, and open face sandwich, alongside desserts of moist chocolate cake, fruit skewers, and a candy station. The children-friendly ambience, filled with fun activities such as clown entertainment, egg painting and egg hunting events, is a great venue to be at this Easter’s Day.

For reservations, please call Serena Brasserie at 03 – 2782 6228 or e-mail [email protected]. Visit us at kualalumpur.intercontinental.com/. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram @intercontinental.kualalumpur, and tweet us @ interconkl.
