Marini’s on 57 is bringing its third instalment of It’s All About House Music series back on Friday, 18th March 2016, with Chicago House Legend Marshall Jefferson. Known to house music lovers as one of the founding fathers of Chicago House music, Marshall Jefferson will be spinning for one night only at Malaysia’s highest rooftop bar.
The history of Chicago House music will vary depending on who’s telling it. Few men however will be mentioned, or have been instrumental in the development of this specific genre since the late 1970s as Marshall Jefferson, who has had a hand in everything from deep house, acid house, to ghetto house. House music lovers will be thrilled with the chance to get up close and personal with a part of Chicago House music history, if only for a few hours on the dance floor at Marini’s on 57.
This year fans of house music will be happy to note that Marini’s on 57’s will be showcasing some of the biggest names in the music industry under one glass roof. In a series of firsts, It’s All About House Music: Chicago House will be the first instalment of a series of international legends who are set to spin at Malaysia’s highest rooftop bar throughout 2016.
