STARZ KITCHEN @ PAVILION

the starz kitchen

Located between ROCKU Yakiniku Japanese Buffet and The Counter DIY Your Own Burger, Starz Kitchen, or more known as 左麟右李粥面小菜專門店, is a Hong Kong restaurant invested by two famous artists- Alan Tam 譚詠麟 & Hacken Lee 李克勤.

The restaurant is indeed a great success in Hong Kong. With the opening of restaurants in different cities, more guests in China and Southeast Asia can enjoy a delicious range of traditional Cantonese delicacies such as wontons, steamed rice rolls and stir-fries, alongside an enticing selection of congees and noodles.
We are there finally at one and only one outlet in Malaysia. Located at Level 8 of the mall, one must not go wrong when you enter the restaurant. The menu comes simply extensive with a variety of noodles, rice sets, stir fried dishes, and more.

House Specialty Shrimp Wanton Noodles (RM 21.00)
Since back from Hong Kong, we are dying for a hearty bowl of wantan soup and here we come for the wanton noodles here. Priced at the high side alike the price in Hong Kong, the portion is simply a generous one. The warm satisfying bowl of wantan noodles soaked in the bowl of pipping hot soup and served with 3 pcs of huge satisfying wanton with it.

Roasted Goose with choice of 1 from BBQ Pork or Roasted Pork Belly or Chicken with Rice (RM 23.00)
Roasted Goose was good where the meat is tender and juicy but as for roasted pork belly, I find it too though as they have no layer of collagen in between. The skin remains cracky and good. The portion is kinda small for the money we pay.

Milk Tea (RM 6.50)
